I am loving this thing! The new subtank mini is so much easier to build on and has way more airflow. My local shop had the whole kit for 85 bucks plus 15 for the battery. Its vaping really, really good right now. The plan was to get a temp control device, specifically the new 60 watt joytech (not sure the name, resembles a car?) But since it wouldn't be in until next week, I snagged this. You cannot get more for your money. Plus with the new temp control coils for the subtank mini's, it'll be perfect when I snag an ipv4 box :D just wanted to share, look how sexy this thing is <3

Beautiful piece of kit there! Did you get the black and white drip tips in your box?

I really want this but I'm worried that if I'm at work and my hands aren't the cleanest it'll rub off and make the device dingy looking. Has anyone got any input on this?
It's an aqueous ceramic coating, and should hold up really well. Both the tank and the mod are like that. It'll chip if you beat the crap out of it or drop it, but it wiping off would be the least likely thing to happen.

Lovely looking, I also have the dual airflow holes but since moving to a different tank, the airflow on the subtank isn't enough anymore, shame because I really do like this a lot.
Ive been using a dripper as my primary device for the last little while, but I still use my subtanks every once in a while. They have good airflow, but not the best in the market. Still plenty for me though.

I love the way it looks. I wish it suited my vaping style because it is so good looking. I hope they influence other companies to do something similar
Have you seen that they've moved to vertical coils for the occ? They say it'll go much higher than the original occ. Somewhere around 50 watts, much warmer vape and more vapor production.

Yeah I tried one a guy brought into the shop I go to. It is a lot better without a doubt but it's still not capable of replacing my favorite stuff. But I do applaud Kanger for listening to customers and doing something. I think this is a kit that would be great for beginners too. The tank is versatile. Their customer service seems respectable too. I can't knock this at all. Just not my cup of tea but I believe it will be a LOT of other people's cup of tea lol. I think they hit a homerun for their type market

Nice kit. The new vertical coils rock.If you're looking to get a TC mod, consider saving up the extra scratch and getting the SX Mini M class. Solid mod and the best TC device I own by a long shot. BTW, the Joyetech device you're thinking of is the Evic-VT. Solid mod, too, but the SX Mini M class generally outclasses it in every way but battery life.

I think I'll be picking one up. I'll definitely be getting one of the subox nano kits they're coming out with. If nothing else, I'll get a steel tank section for it and have an awesome work and beat up mod.

Yup. I prefer the stainless steel tip from my original subtank mini but the ones in this kit are pretty awesome too

My first worry. I love the white but with the work I do ( industrial painting/metal framing) I get real nasty. I almost waited for my go to store to get the red and black one but went ahead with the white one. It does attract dirt and smudges but anything damp will wipe it right off.

So glad you reminded me of this..the SX mini m will be my next purchase

Well I'm not too keen on it either but as I understand it, with a TC box and coil, you can set it to a temperature that suits you and it won't allow your mod to go above that temperature. Once it hits the temperature you have it set to it will cool down and then heat back up to set temperature. It should control those hot hot vapes. At least that's how I understand it anyways. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

TC basically controls the temperature to whatever limit you set by dropping voltage (and therefore wattage) on the fly. A dry wick will cause the coil to heat up TONS faster, so the mod senses this and drops voltage output rapidly. In theory, with a sensible temp limit like 450-500 degrees F or lower, the wick should never get burnt, even with a bone dry tank.
