Hi guys! Sorry if this should be posted somewhere else. Iv been vaping for nearly 2 months now, iv been using an ego and a vision spinner 2 battery with aspire bdc clearomiser and also protank mini 3.

I'm ready to hit that next stage and invest in a mod. Iv been thinking about mvp v3, vtr or 134 mini. Could you guys recommend any good mods?

also looking to start dripping, anybody recommend any atomizer?

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

I would recommend the MVP v2

1. Huge (2600 mah) battery
2. Variable Voltage - Voltage can be adjusted from 3.3 ~ 5.0 in 0.1 volt increments
3. Variable Wattage - Wattage can be adjusted from 6.0 ~ 11.0 in 0.5 watt increments
4. Ohms Meter - Reads the resistance of your atomizer
5. Ability to vape while charging
6. $40 shipped at many online stores

Here is a great blog post on dripping by ECF member The Ocelot: Drip, Drip, Drip - The Sound of Dripping.

510 drip atomizers or Nano clearomizers can be used for sampling multiple flavors.

IMHO, the MVP2 is the most versatile of those three. The VTR has a little more power than the MVP2, but it has a size restriction of the juice attachment diameter, and is a heavy mod. The 134 mini is also a heavy and bulky mod and is variable wattage only with no built-in voltage or ohm reader.

What is your budget for the drip atomizer? Were you considering a 510 drip atomizer or a rebuildable atomizer (RDA)?

Thank you all for replying guys. I'm swaying towards the mvp v2 to be honest.

I don't really have a budget, I wouldn't want to pay anything over 100 though for initial start up. What do you think would be the best out of 510 or rebuildable?

Thank

Welcome smithy.

I have an MVP. It's good. It's not exactly a powerhouse, but it works with enough punch for me. If I fancy a dozen puffs at 15 watts, I look towards my Nemesis.

I also own an EVIC, a SID, a Vamo and a collection of mechanical mods too. SID is retired. EVIC, well, the first one died and Joyetech didn't want to know, so I waited for a 50% sale on their website to pick up a new one. The Vamo was direct from China (£20?) and it's awesome... I love it. Shame the button takes a few more presses than it should at times.

Lots of people have an MVP. Even if it isn't your everyday mod, you can also find a use for it. Keep it charged up for when you are having a battery crisis!!

A 510 thread dripper is going to give you fabulous taste. A fully rebuildable atomiser is going to give you a great taste and a tank.
Mostly, I don't use dripping atomisers (gave away my iGo, kept my octopus, swapped my Pheonix for a pint of beer).

However, I am hoping to get a Plume thingy from my brother in L.A. Should be good.

My mpv does exactly what it should, first time every time

Just saying like :D

I'd agree with most of the others here and recommend an MVP. They are nice reliable mods to use and you cant beat the portable phone charger that it is disguised as! If you want to get a nice beginner RDA I'd say find a nice Helios clone somewhere. Thats what got my good friend into dripping and he still uses his. the 4 posts also make it a breeze to dual coil

Hi when you figure out your mod, I want to tell you about a different kind of dripper.with this dripper you get the flavor of a dripper but are not constantly having to add the liquid. It's called the Prometey and inside you build your coil then in the top cap there is a area to wrap a sera fiber filter over the post. This filter is where you place your liquid. This filter holds 3 ml of liquid and it constantly is keeping your wick wet. The pometey is super light made out of titanium and is a really easy build. You can even rinse out the filter, pat it dry, and reuse it for juice changes. I'm pretty impressed with the flavor I get from the prometey and it's convienece. Give this dripper a try. Gives loads of vapor and amazing flavor for such a simple device. I was shocked how much liquid the filter held. If your looking for a easy dripper give the prometey a try. I think you will like it. The closer your coil is to the air flow the more vapor you will get. It's a fun dripper. Take a look and see what you think of it.

You can purchase a 510 drip atomizer for just a few bucks to see if you would even like dripping. It's not for everybody. Although you get great flavor, it can be inconvenient to drip every few vapes. For many people they prefer a tank for convenience.

A rebuildable drip atomizer also is great for maximum flavor and vapor, but does require extra work to make coils and wicks yourself.

However, homemade coils can last weeks at a time, with cotton wicks being replaced every few days as needed. My first RDA was the IGO-W (first 2 pics below) which is an inexpensive beginner's RDA. It requires some tinkering to perform well, such as needing to drill out the cap air holes for better airflow. My second RDA was a Patriot, which has better quality posts (brass) and just hits better. The third pic below is a Magma, with adjustable airflow ring and a deeper well to hold more e-liquid.

A rebuildable tank like a Kayfun Lite gives the flavor of a dripper with the convenience of a tank.
