the Odysseus drip mode and the ody full

Hello everyone, Ive been looking at all the parts and pieces and from what i can see the drip mode is the same atomizer base with a different base and mouth/top piece? So you can basically get the drip mode base and top/mouthpiece and drop the atomizer in and use it to drip? Let me know, I ordered the base and top/mouthpiece during the pre-sale and took a chance. You will need the thinner nut that goes around the rebuildable part as well

oh darn, I thought it was the same piece that is on the on the rebuild-able part of the ody. Oh well, next pre-order, I hope.
Now that's 3 parts I forgot to order during the pre-sales.

id you have a Penelope you can use the ceramic assembly with they ody drip base and mouth piece. as for the control ring that goes around ceramic assembly you will need that thin nut.

I thought that v2 rebuildale part all come with thin metal ring already.

If you have a Penelope, all you need is the drip mode mouthpiece. Attach it to the Penelope base and you're good to drip.

Well I'm going to have to try it again when I get home tonight because I know I've used the drip mode mouthpiece and Penelope base before without a special ring. I'll post my results tonight.

What does this ring do anyway? Can't the Ody drip mode work without it? In v2 I mean or Penelope where ceramic housing has metal on the side.

Thanks Imeo for the clarification. I wish I had known before I bought the special ring, but no problems, extra pieces are not a waste, but it would have be cool to save on the shipping which was more than the part.

Is it not the same threads on the base between oddy and penny?

thanks for all the info, cant wait to get my parts , it will be nice to be able to use the Ody drip to try new juices. It will certainly be so much easier to put together than all those small drip attys out there.
