Anyone know how are we going to verify with our distributer who we are and what numbers we chose? It seems like anyone could pretend to be someone else to get a number...
Had the same thought, TakenALeft. My only idea would be that the sellers generate a code for every number and send them here in a pm to the reserver. In your order details you then have to state number and code. Would be a lot of work for the sellers though.
Or when Imeo sends out shipment to each reseller the reseller contacts us via PM here that shipment is being done with a special customer code, then we enter that with our preorder request. That is a little bit of work, but I am sure we will pay for these upfront in a pre order anyways.

I am happy to do it but making sure the accounts making the requests are valid, etc, makes this about 3-3.5 hours a day so I am getting almost no regular forum time in. But it will be worth it when people get their shiny new GGP&P's in their sselected numbers.

Sometimes the most direct path is the most secure solution. When the production is nearing an end and the shipping is drawing neaar, a list for each reseller will be made from the combined list here.
If there is any doubt as to whether a person is the one that requested it, the reseller will be able to PM the username on the forum here and verify the real name. With the help from Et0001 from the German forum, Vasilli will have the chance to do the same there.
Not overlooking the possibility of an error of course but this is a new option and first time ever a Gg product has had serial number reservations. There will be bugs to be worked out if it is to continue I am sure. But again, the most direct and simpler methods to verify suspicious orders are available at the resellers hands already!
