The official UPM update thread.

The UMP is close to release, beta is finished. Testing is complete. The production design has small improvements implemented and I have batch one 80% complete. Batch one consists of the first ten units to be sold and three units for hands on reviews and feedback (spots have been filled).

These first ten units should go up for sale July 4th. This first batch will be priced at $119 USD. This reflects the time and effort put into each box. I am not happy with this price and as time goes on it will come down a bit.
I am working at having these made with cnc machines as well and when that happens prices will reflect it.

Here is a picture of the units currently. These are manually machined and take a LOT of work. Each unit is not only made to exacting specifications, they are hand fitted and each one is unique.

My apologies for not being on the forums at all this week. I have been very busy ensuring things stay on track with getting units out the door, repairs done and the UPM's on schedule. It leaves little time and I have been using the extra time to stay up to date on emails. At this time email is the best way to contact me.

P.S. Contest winners fear not, I plan on getting shirts made next week as well and want to get everyone their prizes.

Launch is today, first two batches are very small. Presenting the official launch UMP!
First batch goes up for sale tonight at 9pm Eastern Standard Time. Next Batch is up Friday at 9pm. These batches are already made, no weeks of waiting. Units sold tonight ship this week. Only thing I was waiting on was for the patent to be fully submitted and the packaging should be here thursday.

Featuring the patent pending Flexfeeder system. The Flexafeeder name is in the process of being trademarked. With flexafeeder all components in the feed system are modular and swap easily. Uses STOCK UNMODDED bottles. Just place a feed tube in any 3ml bottle and you are ready to use it. Swap flavors with no screwing. Carry extra juice bottles and when ready, remove its cap and plug it in. Place the removed cap on the removed bottle and you are set.

With Flexafeeder, you choose whether you want a top feeder or a bottom feeder. This unit does BOTH.
All units in the device are modular. Switch is easily removed and replaced for quick repairs if needed. And High rated C&K switches are used on this model making it far more reliable and giving it a great feel.

Even the spring is easy to replace and adjust. By using magnets the spring attaches to the battery. Add spacers for 14500s, no spacers for cr2's.

Interior pictures coming soon, the amount of detail inside is quite amazing.

Incredible improvement over the plastic version Mr Puff! I picked up my test unit this morning and couldn't wait to get home to pop on a LR atty and get my AW 14500 charged up. This one is a versatile unit that you can either feed through the cart like the MP1 OR a bottom feed through the center pole. The 510 is a good one for the bottom feed too. First time trying this and like it. I really like being able to use CR2s if I want with a HV atty.

Thanks Mr Puff for letting me get my hands on one. I am sure to get lots of use out of this nicely machined hand crafted Ultimate Mr Puffer. Here is some "pR0n".......

Aint it nicely finished? You can tell some hours went into making these things. I'm thinking anodizing them in colors maybe....

This looks like the best set up so far. A LR atty with a PROTECTED AW!

Yes! I can use this at 6v too! Wicked!

Notice the little end cap for the tube not in use. Nice touch!

Best of luck to you on this model Mr Puff! I will be putting it to the test for ya and will let you know if I run into any problems. I seriously doubt it though. It looks and feels like a very solid device. Great Job!

These look super, only thing I dont get is why not an 18650 the newer AW 18650 looks like it would fit in this Mod, or is it smaller than it looks, or does an 18650 Fit in it, as well will there be one built for an 18650 Batt anytime soon.?????

Thanks,

MWA102464,

PS

Kieth,
That LR Carto will kick some .... on this Mod. Great picks this is a solid loking unit man.!!

I saw another "in development" pic of a 18650 mod with a really durable looking case Mr. Puff was working on a few months ago, but it was, i believe, put on the proverbial back burner for the UMP production. Perhaps look for this in the future?

BTW, over 2 weeks with my UMP and I'm really liking it. High drain 14500 and LR 306 atty work like a dream together on this mod. I get 8 hours or so of quality vaping with LR attys on a 600 mah batt, not bad. Looks great, well machined to say the least, great button feel and performance, and the bottom feed works very well. Really packs a punch at 6V, too. I have no need for the 7.4V option, tho...ouch.
