These pieces were done as local municipality, Vestavia, mulled a smoking ban which did NOT exempt e-cigs. Vestavia passed the ban in July of 2012 banning cigarettes and e-cigarettes in public places (including bars).

Vulcan Vape: Sold in 50 states, 50 countries, banned in Vestavia.

The city of Birmingham passed an ordinance in May of 2012 which banned smoking in public places, but exempted e-cigs. Congrats, Bham, for thinking ahead.

First I would like to say that it is awesome having our very own vape shop in town. Makes getting juices and parts very convenient. I probably would still be smoking if it wasn't for that convenience. Thanks Vulcan Vape! Now having said that my last two purchases have not been stellar. I bought a dct tank and it just wouldn't stay wet enough to get a good vape. To solve this problem I figure I can just drill another or larger hole in the cart itself. My second tank I bought from them was the ViVi Nova. This item has the worse taste I have experienced to date. It taste like I am smoking plastic. I tried changing the head and making sure the coil was nice and wet before I fired it up and still the same problem. I don't know for sure but from what I have read there are different versions of this product and I think I was sold the first version. I could be wrong. For now I am not using either of these products. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the kind words about our store. Opening the store has been a great experience for us and I'm glad that it has been for you, too. I'm sorry you have been having trouble with your VV Nova and DCT Tank. Please come by the store tomorrow or whenever you can and we will get to the bottom of your troubles and make sure you get something that you're going to be happy with. In the mean time, here are some suggestions and answers to some of the questions you have presented here :

1. The ViVi Novas that we carry are Version 3.
2. IF you are using a VG-heavy e-liquid, it could be causing the problems that you are having with both the VV Nova and the DCT. The problem with VG-heavy e-liquid is that it doesn't wick well in a device like the VV Nova and it doesn't flow through the little hole in the DCT carto as well as a mostly PG liquid.
3. If your DCT carto tastes burned, the burnt taste won't go away even if the carto is actually finally really wet. Once the burnt taste enters the picture, it is impossible to make it go away because the filler itself in the carto is burned and will never get unburned.
4. Good News! Today, we just got in DCT replacement cartos with 2 holes. Come by the shop and we will GIVE you one and make sure it's working before you leave.

5. Bottom line : Come see us and we will make this right for you, vape-wise AND money-wise.

Thanks for the reply. The juice I put in it was Honeycomb Caramel and I do believe that's 70/30 pg/vg. I could be wrong. Well I will try and make it up to the shop tomorrow to get it all worked out and again thanks for the prompt reply.

I would like to say thanks to Wes at Vulcan Vape for helping me out today with my ViVi Nova and DCT Tank. He replaced my ViVi Nova and hooked me up with a two hole carto for my DCT Tank. While I was there i picked up some extra juices and their new "stardust like" clearomizer. Haven't had a chance to check them all out but I will keep posted. Thanks and again and it is a privilege to have you open shop in Birmingham.

I just wanted to say thank you to Vulcan Vape, and especially to Sebastian. I'm in all the time, and he is always helpful and patient with everyone I've ever heard him speak with. He helped me with an issue today, gave me no grief, and I will be back to buy more things. Customer service is not lost at Vulcan Vape.
