the one thing that bothers me about the subtank

I love my new subtank nano, but the one thing that bothers me about it is the RED O-rings.
This is because I have a bright green battery and drip tip, and this combo clashes horridly.

I have seen a photo on the internet of a subtank coming in 5 different ring colors, but have not seen it for sale anywhere.
I would ideally love the black rings that were in the photo, but clear would do as well.

Does anyone know of a vendor or local shop that would sell replacement O-rings for the Subtank nano in DIFFERENT COLORS?!?!

Subtank, as with several other tanks, uses a glass tank;
the reason it uses a glass tank is the glass in inert to the liquid whereas plastics react to varying degrees with liquids.

The O-rings are used to secure and seal the glass tube.
The O-rings, like the glass, is in contact with the liquid you vape, therefore chemical reaction between the material of the O-rings and the eliquid is an issue.

Most times when you see O-rings they are black.

I've see a couple other examples where the O-rings are red;
I'm inclined to think that the material used is chosen for a reason;

If you get yourself some colored orings colored with dye, I imagine you will be vaping dye and probably not food grade dye.

Kanger made o-rings have been recently released in a whole bunch of different colors, including black.

I'm sure if you Google it you can find some. It should be pretty easy to change out. My only concern would be the fit. You would need them to fit perfectly or you would get a mess of leaking. If I recall correctly they seem a bit thicker than the usual O ring as well. Perhaps with some searching online you can find some colored ones made specifically for that tank. Best wishes
