So as of late I have been into genesis attys . Once I tasted my favorite juice on mesh I was hooked, buuuut, I love my reos( let's be honest, if you own one you are having the same love affair) so after becoming familiar with mesh setups I hatched a plan. What I came up with is this: 24 guage wire, 8 wraps on a 7/64 drill bit micro coil. I wish I had gone 1 less wrap but live and learn. The build meters out at .7 ohms. Tidy up the coil and get her heating evenly. Next I took 500 mesh, rolled and oxidized it. Solid wick that just slides through the coil. Now I think here comes the crucial part, a reomizer 2.0 with a ceramic deck. Lay that coil right on the deck with just enough of the sqounk hole open to breathe. With that thick of a wick it soaks up a good amount of juice. I am able to get 5 pulls before dry. This setup is definitely more for mouth to lung and flavor chasers. I thought I would share how I am maximizing the potential of my REO!!! Happy vaping!!!

NIce! Thanks for sharing your process. Eight draws is great for a single squonk.

This is one more benefit of the ceramic base of the RM2 - no shorting the metal wick should it touch.

Also, If you're really into mesh, there is a good atty for it made by NoName - the NoGain - that comes bf ready from the manufacturer.

Awesome!! Yeah over the past 2 months I went from an RSST to an aga t3 , 3 ihybrid pures ( 10 bucks each, down from 100 originally) then I got 2 authentic Origen v2s , a 6 ml and a 4 ml. I stared at my reos longingly wanting to include them so badly. The plan started to take shape, I ran with it and all is well!! The Nogain huh?? Where at? Or can I just google it easily enough?

VapinArt has them. Note that there is a sister atty - the NoPain - that is virtually identical, but intended for cotton/rayon/RxW use.

If you like the Origennies (I've tried the 4ml V2 - it was quite nice), you might like the Origen (full size) V3, which also comes with a bf pin for use with a reo but may not suit your mesh building ways.

Thank you for posting your success! I never got into genesis attys, therefore I do not I have an opinion on them. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your ingenuity and ability to marry your 2 true loves: Reo and Genny! Long may they live together to bring you joy!

Hey Papa!! Thanks for the info on the NoGain. Can't understand a thing the guy is saying in the vid , lol, but it looks like it is right up my alley!! Got one on the way! I will post pics when it's setup. Today I am going to set up the derringer reomizer clone with mesh. I will report back on my success or failure, whatever the case may be

Happy to help. For some reason, other than Rob, the squonking scene seems to be an Italian thing, so a disproportionate number of vids on atties like NoName are in that language. Il mio italiano sta migliorando di conseguenza.

They all work great on a reo, though.

I've tried to catch the No Fear Again Black BF's in stock there a couple of times for the OG VVG to no avail (so use a RM2 or IGO-S on it).

I left the mess days behind a couple of years ago and don't really have much interest on the RM2's (although I've got a bunch of them and 400x400 mesh so could). The No Gain maybe though, would make for a compact package on an LP Mini 2.1. Hmmm (troublemaker).

Ok, so I set up the reomizer derringer using cotton and mesh. The coil is not being supplied its juice from the cotton , only mesh is in contact with the coil. Twisted 28 , 7/64 drill bit. It's a tight fit but it makes it. Small piece of mesh with just a little outside each end of the coil. Cotton is wrapped around those ends ant big tails are packed into the other side. No bed of cotton under the coil. The cotton has one job- feed the mesh!!

It vapes very well. Kinda did a Swiss roll type cotton setup. It feeds the mesh constantly. I can get 10-15 rips off of it. Keep in mind I am a tight draw mouth to lung, but it would definitely hold up to lung inhales with a bit more sqounking
