Hey everyone, I have a quick question about my Reomizer and I bet someone here can advise me. The issue is that the connection points holes for the kanthal are not aligned parallel to each other and it's a chore to thread a 7 wrap 26 gauge coil though it. I would normally just take some needle nose pliers to them and straighten them up, but the ceramic deck is what makes me worry. Is it ok just to turn the points or should I just man up, cry about it, and continue struggling.

Thanks!

You learn something every day. In my head I've been wondering why I have to contort my leads all over on a couple to get them into the holes... And why when I look at SuperX's coils his posts are perfectly in-line. Now I know... LOL.

Next batch of coils on these bad boys will be alot easier. :)

This is sort of s spa. I collapsed my first spring today! An average coil, .8 not touching the sides, fired fine with no cap. I put the cap on and bloop, there went the spring. I took the cap off and it took a second to spot the problem. My rm2 has a taller positive post than the negative. The metal drip tip I had in protruded just a hair under the roof of the cap. I had the tag end of the coil folded back over the top, screw-keeper style. Apparently just enough to touch the cap. So, FYI, if you have a model with a tall positive post, this is something to be mindful of.

i test mine twice because i am paranoid - once when i make it with the cap off and again before i fire it, with the cap on. It has saved me a few times.

how do you test with the cap on? I am assuming using a multimeter on the center and side of the 510 commendation? I guess I could have built it on my vamo and checked I t fully assembled. I shall do this from now on. Thanks.

There are 2 methods - use a carto tester - madvapes had them in stock last week - or you can test an atomiser with a multimeter by putting the leads on the threads and centre pin on the bottom of it - rather than just between the posts as you typically test it when building one. That way you can test it fully assembled.

I screw mine on my Vamo to test them.

Just keep in mind guys while Rob is correct they do thread and I've broken the RM2 completely down and reassembled it I would highly recommend re-tightening the post thread in which would happen anyways when you tighten the top screw.

Keep this in mind also because if you remove your drill bit or blunt tip prior to tightening it back down you might contort your coil out of whack depending on the amount it needs to travel.
