Let's face it. We're all searching for it.

Spending cash on " better " equipment, sub ohming, dripping, cloud chasing etc. Not to mention the amount spent looking for "that juice" that becomes your all day vape. The one that causes anxiety when you see just a few mls left in the bottle and you know you need more....SOON !!

My wife keeps asking me how this is cheaper than smoking.

My reply is that I'm just looking for that " Perfect " vape. And once I find it the wallet drain will end

Has anyone found their perfect vape? Or does it even exist ?

for me it is.... my copper mechs with an rda @.65 ohm with a cotton wick. taste, vapor but no throat hit since i use such a low nicotine level. i seriously drained the bank account searching for that very thing..kind of disappointing though , now i don't watch the mail as closely as i once did. wish i had tried it sooner...good luck everyone finding yours...

I've spent several grand trying different pv's, toppers, and liquids. While each device was marginally better than the one before I was completely blown away once I tried my Reo for the first time.

My perfect vape is a Reo grand with a reomizer 2.0. I also diy liquids so I can make exactly what I want to vape.

I passed the "cheaper than cigarettes" phase 6 months ago but I spent a lot on experimenting to get there. Now I'm done, equipment wise. I DIY which is super cheap and my 2 ELA's, 1 P+18650 and a couple of eGo's for on the go are all I need for mods. I have 8 atties (Taifun GS, 2 Taifun GT's, a Squape, a Kayfun Lite, a Fogger and 2 Tatroe Protanks) to rotate and a couple of eGo's for on the go. Life is good.

I agree, we are all searching for the perfect vape.

While I don't think the "perfect vape" exists per se, I definitely believe we can come close.

Each person's "close to perfect" vape will be different. Some like more throat hit, some like more vapor, some like more flavor, etc.

Also, some people will just never be satisfied....for them, a near perfect vape doesn't even exist. They just will never find what they are looking for.

For me, it isn't about finding the perfect vape (well, in THEORY it is, but in practice, no), it is about finding the BEST possible vape, for the LEAST amount spent. It is the same thing I'm looking for in ALL of the consumer products I buy, no matter what they are.

I've gone through a few batteries and delivery devices since May of 2013, when I started vaping daily, although not NEARLY the amount that some people on here have gone through.

With each device, I feel I get a step closer to finding what I'm looking for, my near perfect vape. Some devices don't make much of a difference at all, while others are what we in the community call "game changers". My game changers were the Kanger Pro tank (original), Evod BCC, then the IBTanked Carto Tanks....then the Kayfun.....and now the IGo-w5 RDA.

My first mech mod was a game changer as well, because I could sub-ohm with it. My MVP2 was a game changer, for many reasons :)

My next step on the seemingly never-ending quest is a new mech mod, and a new dripper :)

It does indeed. For me it's "Desert Gold" a tobacco from ECBlends. $30 for 125ml (after discount). That lasts about 2 months for me as I vape some sweet stuff on the side every now and then. I can DIY a lot cheaper but my crap never tasted this good.

So yes, my juice quest is over and has been for some time. Your ADV is out there folks... just keep hitting the 2ml samples until you find it. And for god's sake people... don't write of a juice just because it tastes awful right out of the mailbox. I made that mistake. 3 weeks later with a few shakes and that stuff can be pure vaping heaven.

I'm still searching for a tobacco flavor that doesn't make my smell senses run for cover. As for taste I can't say ( other than Export which was not to my liking) as no B&M's near me have tasting bars. Hoping I can find one and there's a vaping expo here next month so hopefully I can taste a few there and find the one.

I'll admit I am notoriously easy to please, and I'm told it's one of my better qualities.:)

With that disclaimer, I have found exactly what I need and want to vape very happily. I have 2 MVP's, so one can be waiting in the wings at all times. I have quite a few very efficient tanks, Smok Tech Pyrex Aros, complete with lots of replacement coils.

I have several Mt. Baker Juices that I really, really like, and change them throughout the day. Grape, Rootbeer, Butterscotch, and Green Apple are the current favorites at my house.

So in the words of that great group, Alabama, "That's close enough to perfect for me."

I found my "perfect" on my first mod. I started with an evo t kit from the mall, when I went in to buy it I figured I'd up grade eventually. The evo was just to make sure I liked vapor before I spent any big bucks. I couple weeks after I got that I ordered a ehpro ea mech mod and an agat2. I thought I'd be really into buying a bunch of mods but I'm totally satisfied with what I have. Now I'm just thinking about getting some more attys so I can always have 1 put together and another 2 or 3 to mess around with different builds and flavors.

I have what is for me the perfect vape, and I didn't spend a lot finding it. Others might not find it "perfect" but it works for me in that it's very satisfying, much more so than cigs ever were, and I enjoy it more. It's an RSST on a Sigelei 24 mech, running at .7 ohm, 400 SS mesh wick, 26 kanthal, with my 12 mg DIY juice. It's all I need. I push the button and the vape is there right now, with great flavor, and voluminous vapor. I stick to my one favorite juice recipe, and some might say I'm in a rut, but I think I've found my groove.

For me the perfect vape is a combination of the perfect coil. (0.7 ohms, dual coil) combined with my juice. This morning I created my perfect coil by accident. Dual coil on my new Nimbus V5. the heat combined with the 11% nic, chocolate vape scratches right where it itches. Perfect temperature, perfect cloud, perfect throat hit. I'm not sure how I know it's perfect, as this is the first coil build i've ever made that was this good. Or what about it is so good seeing as it's nothing like a cigarette. But. It's perfect :D

I have an Innokin Itaste VTR, which I am very happy with. I am saving up for a mech mod now, and I only plan on having one.
I started practicing on my boyfriend's RBA, so that will get cheaper as I get better.
I have found 2 all day juices, so I can cut back on sampling juices a lot.
Overall, I managed to stay out of the money pit that vaping can become.

So right now my VTR with an Iclear 30s and some Old English Orchard Reserve from The Steam Co. is closer to a perfect vape than I ever thought I would find.

I DIY my own juice, and have a nice mix I pretty much consider perfect. Device-wise, I remain very happy with a high-end Genesis tank. I currently am using a Kanger-style tank when I am out of the house and it is good enough for the most part. I'd like to pick up a Reo since I love/hate dripping and the Reo gets rid of the part I hate and it is pocket friendly.

Once you are rebuilding your own coils and making your own juice, the only thing standing in the way of a perfect vape is your own self.

I vape with my man cave mod at home and take my original vmax when out and about. But alas the perfect juice eludes me to this day. Even my once strong arsenal of 10 or so old standbys are lack luster at best. So my quest continues, at a much slower pace yes, but I am grateful that my mod and device search is over. Wood mods and rebuildables my perfect "way" to vape.

My "perfect setup" is a system. The Provari Mini with a Kayfun Lite+ (for non tank crackers) or a Smoktech RSST (for tank crackers). Both are built with a 1.6-1.8 ohm set up. The KFL+ has a chimney coil, the RSST is wicked with 400 SS mesh. This is my on the go setup.

At home, I use a Trident or Omega clone on an Emit Vapors' Shotgun mech mod. These are built to a dual coil, 30ga twisted set up at 0.5 ohms.

For juices, I have found a few flavors from MBV and Vape Dojo that I enjoy. Both companies are low cost, but great quality juice companies. I use 18mg in my tanks and 6mg at home. I also chain vape a lot more at home, so it makes up for the difference in nic level.
