Vendor: The Plume Room
Liquid: Cuban Cigar 6mg 50/50
Description: Bold, robust flavor that's remarkably smooth. A must try for the cigar aficionado
Setup: dripping on a standard smartvapes dripping atomizer with 18350 pipe mod
Thoughts:
I've tried every single natural tobacco from TPR. When Cuban Cigar was released, I emailed Andrea (owner) to see what she put into this one. She replied that it is from both pipe and cigar tobacco. Quick Nic juice has a similar described eliquid called Habana Daydream. Habana Daydream is an incredible cigar/pipe mixture. Hoping Cuban Cigar would also be the same, I decided to finally order some during the Black Friday sale.
When I first received this Nov. 26th, I opened up the bottle. It smelled very familiar but I couldn't place it. I dripped twenty drops in my atty/drip shield and took my first draw. I tasted a couple of flavors. First off, there is that familiar flavor I still couldn't place. Behind that was a very faint extracted tobacco flavor. It resembled a pipe but was extremely faint.
Eleven days later, it's time to get it out again. I reached for my bottle and dripped away. After taking my draw, here's what I think. The dominant flavor, I believe, is Cuban Supreme from Flavourart. This would be where the "Cuban" part comes from. The background pipe tobacco still exists, has grown some depth, but is still very faint.
The vapor production is good, not great. The throat hit is also good.
Final Thoughts:
TPR's original extracted line included a Toscano cigar. It tasted like the tuscano Flavourart flavoring with a little real tobacco. I was hoping Cuban Cigar would be different, especially since it is extracted with real pipe and cigar tobacco. While it does taste better than the toscano, the dominant flavor is artificial. Although I have never tried an actual Cuban cigar, as they are illegal in the USA, I can't imagine they could taste like this. With this said to be a natural tobacco and described as "a must try for any cigar aficionado", I can't give this any recommendations. 4/10
