The possibility of an eGo type battery charger mod

Just curious that if I could build a device that would allow me to connect an eGo or Vision Spinner 2 type battery to a charger like a Nitecore Intellicharger i4 that it would work safely and efficiently in place of the usual USB charger? I have an idea as to how to make the connection but I wanted to get some feedback on the idea before I actually proceed to build it. I admit that I am no expert when it comes to Li-ion batteries but my goal is to be able to charge the "stick" type batteries that I own in a faster and safer manner than the seemingly low tech USB chargers. Thanks for any input offered.

Bad idea. An eGo charger only has an output of 420 mA for a reason. Start putting 500 mA or 1 amp of current into an eGo battery and you won't be happy with the end result - to put it mildly. The last thing it will be is safer.

Well I guess that answers that! I knew that the USB chargers worked at 420mA (why that number??? LOL) but since the Intellicharger is supposed to be so universal that it might just be compatible with just about any battery. I guess I'll just have to find something else to tinker with. No. Bad idea; you don't want to stress the small battery with a big charger;
faster charge is not safer charge
