I am interested as to if these batterys will actually work to power an atty. On my 3x AAA alkaline battery flashlight mod the voltage drops from 4.5 to around 3.5 when the atty is powered up. With the smaller battery I am concerned that the internal resistance will drop the voltage too much to be useful. Have you tried them with an atty yet?

Yes maybe for a tiny mod just for show, not usable price-wise and no recharge...
I think it's easier to go for something like Cisco wanted to do with a factory 510 battery with no shell, (very small), inside a USB charger.
