Hello My Fellow Vapers,

Some all ready know that if you own a Paragon Mod chances are you are being ignored by the makers on issues, this is known by many and its all over their FB page and other places also. I will give you the background and then explain what I had to do to remedy the Problems with the mod most are having including myself....

I payed full price for The Paragon Mod in 18650 from a reliable source whose done nothing but go above and beyond to help remedy the issues, No fault to them I would buy again in a second and so glad I chose to go thru them in the first place. They have even tried to help me contact or fix the issues by using their channels with the makers and to no luck they are being ignored too.. Majestic Vapes out of Cali. is the shop and has been phenomenal from start to finish and even after the sale, Nothing but positive so I highly recommend them!
On to the story....
So I bought the Paragon Mod and started using it which I love it in all honesty, But there are some known issues which many talk about on the FB page and at first the maker told me no problem I will send you the positive pin/negative pin/Button Spring free of charge and sending ASAP. I was happy as it would fix the issues I am having.... I have asked many times since when it was being shipped or if I could pay for it and shipping to get it sent and after 2 months now they ignore me and many others with the same issues...
The problems are as follows-
1. The Positive pin is adjustable but it has a nipple on the top to touch the rda which is fine, The pin is self adjustable and also has a screw in on bottom to adjust it even more. Problem is its way to long even when screwed in all the way so on every rda I own it leaves a gap of 1mm or so either in cap to tube or atty to top cap, the only way to fix is to sand down the nipple off contact which will make it aprox. 2mm shorter and allowing you to adjust rattle out by screw.
2. The button spring is way to soft, it is recessed but after 2 weeks of use the spring became warped and even more out of shape. it is so soft now that I dont even have to touch it just use Jedi FOrce to imagine I am and it fires.... Not really but way to soft. they said they would send me a couple different pressures but again now wont respond to me or others.
3. The positive Pin is so loose that when you remove the battery it falls out and you have to anticipate it so you don't lose it, the delrin is perfect but the pin is to small. Many have this issue.

So now you know what the problems are and that they are now ignoring customers as I can only assume they are working on the v2 model which will fix these which is great, But why not respond to us that spent $200.00 on your mod and help us to fix it in hopes we will buy v2? Or even better give me the option to buy the parts needed from the shops that sold for you so I can at least get the replacement parts before fasttech clones the parts and I have to buy it from them lol... I have never once bad mouthed the makers until now which is a must since so many are being treated like this and just being ignored, If they decide to take care of the issues then I will notate or remove this post.

So what did I do to fix the issues?
I have some knowledge and tools so I made it right and how it should have been done in first place...
I used a copper tube for positive pin and flared the battery side, I sanded it down to fit perfect with zero chance of it falling out. Since it is hollow I decided that using .99 silver would be fine for the voltage drop and melted it down and filled the core with it. Sanded that down and still have some more to go to make it a finished product. It was not to bad but time consuming to make sure it would fit perfect since there is no way to adjust it and because I only use one RDA with it I know what size i am looking for. I have not put the final polish and sand on it to make it 100% fitment where it has zero battery rattle and also zero gap on any connections. hopefully tonight I will get that done and post that picture up for all to see.
Next will be an adjustable style positive pin, I am thinking of either solid copper rod tapped to house a solid silver screw to make it more user friendly. I am considering also that making it the same way I did before but having a tapped copper insert flush and filling around that with silver. so Copper tube/silver core holding in place a threaded copper insert.... Not sure how I want to do it considering the time/money spent to make it my Perfect Carbon Fiber mod...

I will be upgrading the spring to a stiffer one with a better conductivity also but that is easy and just need to get the spring rate right for my needs.

The last thing I am going to do is to get the brass Negative pin either plated or just making it out of silver, I have also tossed around the idea of a copper screw and plating it or having a small core of silver.... But again its a time/money issue that im not 100% sure is worth the small amount of voltage drop it will help with...

On to results- I have tested it before and after every step and I don't have a way to measure it so it could be for nothing more than fixing the fitment issues and loose pin. I will say that thru each step it seems to be more effective at using the power which means less voltage drop but I cant measure with my fluke so not to important to me. The fact that it has a perfect fit and zero gaps is what I was after but if i'm going to do it might as well do it right.
This is the standard brass contact that comes with it on the right or top depending on how it post the picture, The contact on the left is pure copper tube with a flared end. it is the first picture and I will post the picture of it filled with silver in its final form. you can see it is hollow but I have filled it with silver and considering plating it in full silver after I get it adjusted 100%, it fits snug so if I plate it silver I will have to sand the outer portion to make it fit snug with a silver plate.

I want to Edit this post like I said I would. Apparently my voice was heard.... out of no where I received a package today from a company called Fix Vapor out of cali. I must say this much.. I did not pay them a dime, I have no ties to them in anyway that I know of. So its only right to say what they did was top notch customer service, very cool of them. I received a package with a new positive and negative contact/two springs and the delrin insert, also a bottle of juice. Again I paid nothing to them at any point- thats above and beyond so for that they get positive reviews every place I can. I was told they might have ties to the paragon mod and if that is the case then paragon stepped up and made this customer happy and fixed the known issues I had. Bottom line I love my paragon mod and now even more knowing customer service is there. Thanks fix vapes I really do appreciate it.
