Hey everyone,

I'm sure many of you have noticed that, beyond the occasional post here or there, I have been fairly absent from this forum and the Canadians Against the Electronic Cigarette Ban group on Facebook and I wanted to explain the reasons why. I will try to keep it short, sweet and to the point as well because I have had a difficult time even posting this matter in a public forum, but I believe everyone deserves to know why I have been so inactive for the last few months.

This will take a little history lesson in the life of Noiz but I will keep it as short as I can, but it may turn out quite long compared to a review. I hope this will explain my inaction and shed some light on why I have been so withdrawn.

From The Beginning...

When I began vaping I was living in Toronto (Scarborough Suburb) with my biological father, getting to know him for the first time in my life. Previously I had been living and working in Calgary and gave up my job and basement apartment to move back to Ontario and get to know the old man.

During this time, I found the electronic cigarette and my father and I gave vaping an honest shot, only I stuck with it and he didn't. I became passionate about the potential e-cigs have and after learning Nicotine juice had been essentially banned I decided to begin rallying for the cause, because I knew vaping had spared me from an untimely death via cancer sticks.

Thus, the petition and the facebook group were born  and I am constantly amazed at how this community keeps growing and growing with more amazing people saving their own lives every single day. Though we face many obstacles like HC, WHO, Customs and our own government... We are still standing up and saying "NO!" to these regulatory atrocities and I can honestly say I believe in my country again after witnessing everyone get fired up.

After the months went by and support for the cause was growing, I attempted to begin a company with a fellow forum member whom I respect and am glad to have helped begin their business, but the relationship with my father began to degrade at an accelerated pace. After we learned we were indeed two very different people and the situation grew in severity and intensity by the hour, I was asked to leave his home and was forced to leave the business behind me and go to the only place I could, living with my Mother and Step-Father.

Little did I know, my military step-father had been medically discharged after being injured on one of his tours and that my true home had become a ghost of what it once was. After only a few months of being at home, the situation worsened once again and things became so tense that I offered up the signatures of the petition to anyone whom felt they could take it where it needed to go, since I had not received a reply from the late Jack Layton's office or any other office for that matter.

Anyway, my Mother and I were forced to pack our things and run after a very serious fight between herself and my step-dad about a week ago and we have been staying with family since then, aiming to get an apartment of our own so I can get work again and so my Mother can establish a new life. Sadly, I don't have the same access to the Internet that I once did and can't tend to my duties here, in the group or anywhere online for that matter.

I hope that this will help you folks out there understand why I haven't been around, as it is not by choice that I have been through these ordeals nor would I normally post sensitive personal information in a public forum.. But as I said I feel you all deserve to know why I haven't been here in full capacity since I haven't been able to tend to the cause I started.

The moment we have a new place to call home and are back up and running with the net you have my word I will return in full force, but until then; Don't say goodbye, say so long.

Wasn't around when you were fighting the good fight. After hearing about all that I feel bad you lost your beloved drip tip on top of it. If you need any juice or hardware let me know and I'll tell you what I have to send to you for free. Other then that McD's has free wifi bro, you can totally loiter and a coffee and muffin is $1.39 :) hope to get to see you around more.

As a close friend of Noizmaker, I just want to take this opportunity to write to let you all know that he means the absolute world to me. He is family, and I have been in the loop with what has been going on, hence why he has offered me the position of admin on his Canadians Against the Electronic Cigarette ban group on facebook. With that being said, I could have never done it without his encouragement, and wisdom and his support!

Noiz has been there for me since day 1 since I became a member here back in January, and we have grown to be very close. I often said, if we lived closer to one another, we would be together all the time. I have been worried sick for the last few months, but he has always kept me in the loop, and I am glad its out now, and ECF has alot of supporters of our Noiz.

I have feel like the luckiest girl to ahve such a wonderful guy in my life to share things with, especially in the vaping world. He has taught me a great deal and has put me under is wing and encouraged me to do good things. He has done that not only for me, but for the vaping community of Canada. So when a fellow member of our team is down, we just need to stick together to keep him going. And we will.

My friend Noiz, you are in my heart and prayers everyday, and I believe things are going to be ok! Your poise, and grace through all of this astounds me, and your strength is by far the strongest I have seen. When one door shuts, a new one opens, and our doors will always open for you anytime you need an ear or a shoulder. No matter what, we will all get you through it. This nation has a strong leader called Noizmaker. So lets make some Noiz!

Stay strong, keep moving forward, and remember you have us! We will NEVER leave you. You are my bestest friend ever Noizmaker!
