The REO arrived!!!

The lovely Reo Mini 2.0 arrived today! The RM2 had been here! My back up batteries will should be here tomorrow! I am not tracking the other 2 incoming vape mail joys... lol...

Leaps and bounds better than this, wish I never would have doubted this being better...

First build with 30 gauge kanthal... loving it, 1.5 ohms if memory serves me right... only having slight issues with the cotton...

and the action shots!!!

and this is only 50/50 mix... looking to get to probably 30/70 and enjoy that even more...

it really does, its given me something to take my mind off of what happened with all that, and it still sucks, but im not stewing over it anymore... this thing rocks, just wish i wasnt having difficulties with cotton, never had an issue with cotton when making the bsd chimney in the kanger heads... but it is what it is... looking forward to the 30/70 mixes my wife is going to make tonight at 5 nic instead of 10... decrease the throat hit...

that is my only complaint at this point, is its a bit strong for me... though the cotton could just be the taste being more pronounced... idk... i enjoy it either way though... lol... even when the cotton was lightly burnt... and a slight yech... i was still good... so amazing...

I use CVS organic cotton, it's like $3 for a lifetime supply.

Cut the tails off right at the coil pretty much. I fought it for a while, but it really is better that way. I also prefer a little thicker cottom than some. I have to do a little tugging to get it in, and you have to soak it good my way.

Lower your coil towards the ceramic base to get more flavor and less TH. Can't tell from your pic how low it is, but I have mine almost touching the base pretty often.

so i have varied the amount of cotton, i have two little bags of cotton, 1 with the reo, and 1 with the svd, nice little baggies, then a $4 bag from walmart that i will end up boil, strain, boil in distilled water... but wont do that till i get closer to the point of needing it...

just gotta figure out how often i need to squonk... to vape... gotta learn how to do this...

so work gear is the doohickey, cotton, kanthal, bottle of liquid (in case the 3ml does not last) phillips and mini flathead, nail clippers, lighter, and spare batteries... and of course the reo and rm2...

as far as the tails, i want to get a pair of scissors that are designed for manicures to better trim the cotton, currently just using nail clippers, getting as close as i can without getting too close... manicure scissors with that nice curve to them (i think they are manicure scissors) will be perfect to get very close...

coil height, its very close to the bottom...

i do want to open up the air hole some, the stock is ok, but i want a slightly airier draw... probably going to go to a local b&m (do they increase air holes?) and ask for the next size up... idk, what is the stock? what are some good sizes? lol... guide me please...

as far as the paint job doogie that question would be better posed to oldbroad, she was kind enough to send this to me, and i couldnt tell you, it is a very nice mahogany... much smaller than i thought it would be... and considering the grand (from what i have heard/read) is only slightly larger... well wow... such an awesome vape in such a tiny package... AWESOME!!!

Some have gone as far as dual 1/8 inch but most go to 1/16. I don't think the B&M's will bore it for you but it's just brass and you can just use a 1/16 inch drill bit and do it by hand. And the bit can be used to build your micro coils on.

nah, if i was gonna vape it like i stole it, itd never see the light of day... this will see the light of day... just wont leave my hand... I believe this is going to be the first mod i name... and i shall take a page from gollum (partly because if i dont lower my nic, and increase my water, i might start making the gollum noises... lol) and call it my precious...

Opposing thumb and forefinger are the only other things I can think of. Xobe is out on this one. Yeah just use your fingers. Maybe a bit of tape to make it bigger around and easier.

Scissors...hit the craft section of walmart. I got a pair for under $2 that have served me for months. They snip cotton or coil, no worries.
