Hi everyone,

While waiting for my GoGo to arrive I played some hoops but after 2 hrs it brought me back inside. So I made some research and checked some mod's out and so forth. After a while I noticed that there is not one person that seems to dislike the Reo series which shows how good the product is. I just wonder isn't it annoying to always squeeze the bottle before taking a hit? Also I wonder how user friendly the Reo is. It looks to me - a new kid on the vaping block- that the Reo is quite complicated to use if I consider squeezing the bottle make sure no juice spills and so forth or is it just because I never had the unit in my hands?

Last but not least how come that the company that produces the reo mini, grande, and wood series is not able to make a single unit in a freaking week? It is a company afterall can't be too hard to bring some units out on the market right?

I am not about to buy one but check their website daily to look at the different reos and they are always always always sold out.

A REO takes most of the hassle out of vaping. I've had my first Mini since September, and have since bought another Mini, a Grand and a Woodvil. I could've been perfectly satisfied with just the first Mini - the other 3 are just a luxury to be able to have other flavors loaded up and ready to go. They're easy to clean and maintain, and and are built like a tank.

The availability has been getting much more consistent. These things have been in high demand since Day 1, and it used to be quite an adventure trying to get one. Check the Stock Updates and Pricing tab on the reosmods site - Rob lists estimated dates for availability and firms them up once he has units back from anodizing, etc. Once he has a firm date, he posts it there as well as the time (usually 7PM eastern on the day). For example, here is the latest info:

Grands are being prepped for anodizing 4/11/11 is my best guess could be a couples days sooner
Mini Reos Two to three weeks 4/20/11 estimation
Woodvils 4/8/11 7 pm eastern

You can also press the Out of Stock/Notify Me button for a particular mod - you'll get an e-mail when it is available. Check out the Reos Mods subforum here - you'll find lots of good folks and info there.

The Reo is far from the new kid on the block. It has a dedicated, happy following and user base. It's a solid product that's been tested.

You don't have to push the button every time, it takes the place of dripping and we don't drip after every puff.

It's as user friendly as any well designed bottom feeder. You push on a bottle that feeds the atomizer rather than having to carry a separate bottle around and try to drip into a tip under all circumstances, that's what can get annoying. Big difference in user friendliness there.

As far as limited production. I'm not up on the specifics of Rio however many of these "companies" are small. Some only being one person and that person may have other priorities, family, job, etc. That can be good or bad depending on your view but that is the case with many vendors. Also popularity, excellent design and build quality can cause a product to fly off the shelf whether it has a slower production rate or not.

If you want one and follow the Rio forum and or email them, you'll know when they become available.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Funny thing with my reo for the first few days I kept flooding my atty's. I've quickly found I almost never have to squonk as once it is primed it seems to self feed. I don't know but I can't think of anything easier than put reo to mouth press power button and inhale. That's it not too complicated. It is amazingly easy.

The Monkeyboxx 3.7v, Variable Volt, & Mini are all sweet vaping machines. Brian's Mods is making a very nice mini too. You have options.

If your waiting for a pm to buy you'll never get one. Robert is a one man operation with VERY high demand for his products for a very good reason. If you click on the "notify me" buttons on his web-site you WILL get an email as soon as they're being listed.
Make SURE your pre-registered and have all your PayPal info up to date before hand. reosmods.com

As I said in other threads...
My mini has replaced my desire to use any of my other functioning ecigs.
It is so well built, that I do not need a backup PV when I leave the house.

I forgot how much I loved adjusting my tank atty, using a syringe to fill a cart, fumbling for the lamp switch so I can see well enough to drip, carrying spare juice, and my favorite...researching for a better pv than the one I was using.

Rob is a one man shop and he makes an incredibly (and justifiably) popular mod. He doesn't list them for sale until they are available. If you just keep an eye on the forum, he gives updates on availability. Actually, there are still some Woodvils available from the ones he put up last night, and he will be adding more through the week.

I love my REOs. I don't want any other pv, and if I could only have one, you could be it would be my REO Mini.

With high quality comes high demand. The REO is an experience that will transform your vaping.
What do you learn from the limited availability? You have a craftsman that will only put out a product that meets his high specifications. You have a product that is tested and guaranteed to perform.
Like any high end merchandise quantity is limited.
I would rather buy from one man that stands behind a superior product than from a item massed produced.
Any wait is well worth the end result.

As a owner of Reo Mini, this product is superb and elegant in its nature, and it is fully mechanical while being very sturdy and clean. I've heard of someone dropping this out of their car, dropping it on a lawn and rained on for a few days, and I've dropped it a couple of times myself but this device is so well made that it continues to work at top performance. Aside from the device looking like a bomb detonator, it is very proficient at what it's supposed to do, and that is to give you the best vaping experience of your life.

Welcome want to quit - and congratulations on checking out all of the devices, it's the smart way to find an ecig that works for you. Now, to answer your questions:

Q1. "I noticed that there is not one person that seems to dislike the Reo series which shows how good the product is. I just wonder isn't it annoying to always squeeze the bottle before taking a hit?"

A1. I remember as a newbie, I had to learn how to use the basic e-cig. I had to learn the difference between the cartridge and the cartomizer, I had to learn to use the atomizer with the cartridge, I had to learn that I needed to have batteries fully charged, I had to learn how much e-liquid to drip into the atomizer, I had to learn how to refill a cartomizer. My point is that most e cigs, or modified e cigs called MODS such as ReosMods, have a learning curve. It's just like when you buy a new cell phone and have to read and learn about its features so that you can program it just the way you like it. In my opinion, a mod, such as ReosMods, has a much smaller learning curve, but it helps if you already have some basic e cig experience. What we don't know as a newbie is that a basic cigarette will take lots of attention and maintenance in order to get a good vape. Not to mention that lots of times we may receive dead on arrival parts. Part of the beauty of the Reo is that it is like that oven that was so popular several years ago with the slogan "Set it and Forget it." With the Reo you fill up your juice bottle - 3ml (the ReoMini) or 6ml (the Reo Grand) and you use your atty and prime it as for any e cig and "Set it and Forget it." This is part of the reason so many vapers love the Reo. I think a lot of Reo owners would tell you they found it more annoying to deal with all of the other e cig tasks than squeezing a little bottle of juice :)

Q2. "Also I wonder how user friendly the Reo is. It looks to me - a new kid on the vaping block- that the Reo is quite complicated to use if I consider squeezing the bottle make sure no juice spills and so forth or is it just because I never had the unit in my hands?"

A2. As I described above, Reo enthusiasts find the Reo much more user friendly than other e cigs because it eliminates many of the tasks needed such as filling and dripping etc. It's an ease of use that many people who bought the Reo were looking for, so yes, it is very user friendly.

Q3. "Last but not least how come that the company that produces the reo mini, grande, and wood series is not able to make a single unit in a freaking week? It is a company afterall can't be too hard to bring some units out on the market right?"

A3. ReosMods is a small enterprise that produces custom work, not mass produced work. As a result, many that appreciate his craftsmanship and super customer service, choose to wait until the Reos become available. You are not ready to buy now, but if you find that your device is not satisfying -- as an owner of a Reo I can tell you that the vape I get from my Reo is almost exactly like the puff and mouthful feeling of a puff of a real cigarette as it gets. If you go to ReosMods forum and read the getting to know a little more about you thread, you will see that many Reo users were hardcore cigarette smokers who smoked from anywhere from 5 to 40 years and many were 2pack a day smokers. That's a lot of smoking...and just as many will tell you -- the vape they get from a Reo is what keeps them off of cigarettes.

You've selected a Go-Go and it seems like a great choice :) But still, the better choice you made was to look for a way to quit smoking! Congratulations - I hope your transition from cigarettes to your e cig will be satisfying and your quit immediate!

I'd like to add besides he makes as many as he can while maintaining quality....you don't have to pay in advance and be added to a waiting list like some other mods. When he has a bunch made he gives advance notice of the sale night and flury of buying ensues. Do they go quick...yes...do some miss out...unfortunately yes. That should tell you how good and how much in demand the REO is.
