This is a review of The Saber Touch Mini from Vapormoon.com :2cool:

Upon arrival of this device, i was quickly impressed by the quality of this device. The finish to start with was perfectly flawless!!! The powdercoating was done very nicely on this, smooth and consistent, no overspray, bumps, or any untouched spots. I opted for the custom version with cut Racing Stripes(only on top) which were also very smooth and cut nicely!Upon removing the bottom cap to install battery, I was again impressed by how easy the threads were, and also to discover that it was completely sealed inside, not 1 wire or anything visible. Although designed for a 16340 batt, I put in an AW IMR 18350 and it fit perfect!!! Attached an Ikenvape LR901 atty with a 510 to 901 stealth adapter and a drip shield onto a sealed 510 connection!. Now here's where the fun begins, with the size of this device, it's perfect to rest both top and bottom caps on index finger and pinky to always have a completion for the touch censor circuit. Now with a touch censor there is no need to push any button, just slide thumb over censor and instant fire. I find this very convenient for pulsing! Also no need to worry about accidental firing in pocket or purse. Now the thing that amazed me the most(and still does) is the hit consistency on this. I have used many 3.7 devices, but for some reason it is very hard to notice a voltage drop on this device!!! I'm not gonna say that there is not one, but it is hardly noticeable!! Whatever is going on under that headcap, I like it!! I will truly say that this is a quality MOD, and worth every penny!! Also Customer service is Top Notch!! I was told 5 to 7 day's for shipment(for a made to order MOD), and by golly that's what it was, not 1 day late!! I would Highly recommend this MOD, and give it a perfect

Rating!!

Nice review and glad to hear that you like your new toy. Also liked hearing that you find it to be a quality mod as I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on a 5 volt hp saber.

The Sabertouches truly are some of the best looking mods out there and from everything I have read Sir Lawerence takes very good care of his customers.

Have to admit that I'm a tad jealous but I'll get mine one day. Please post again after you have had it for a while and let us know how it performs over time.

Really is a beautiful mod Tat_skull...love those racing stripes! I'm glad to hear how well the touch sensor performs for you... I've had my eye on that mod and was really curious about using a touch sensor. I was impressed when I read on the site that it comes with a 5 year warranty with no extra charge...I haven't seen anyone else offer that. Hopefully I'll have one someday soon...in sky blue! Thank you so much for the thorough review...so glad you're happy with your mod :)

It's been over a month now with my Saber Touch mini, and it's still working flawlessly!! Just got a passthru for it to keep the voltage at a steady 4.2, just like a freshly charged batt. I will update on how that goes here:) Also will have a review of a Saber Touch VariVolt that I just got today, so be on the lookout:blink:

Your new vari is BEAUTIFUL. I'm torn on which to order. Been hitting my RS at 6 volt for the most part lately and find that to be pretty satisfying. Originally thought I wanted a 5 volt saber then thought I might find it lacking since I have been doing 6 volts as of late. Then thought 3.7/6 volt saber, but would I ever really use it as a 3.7 device? I dunno...

Now I'm leaning towards the vari but the warranty on it compared to all of SIR L'S other mods is a huge difference. 5 years is an outstanding warranty...90 days on the vari concerns me a bit but I understand why the sir would need to shorten the warranty on it.

Sir L did mention a while back that he may alter the vv warranty ( I think I read that ) so I guess I ride it out for a bit. In the meantime, you need to get that new vari out in the sunlight for a photo op. I'll be looking for the photos on the vapor moon forum. What was that color you picked? Green with envy or is that just what my brain read when I saw it?

Nice...I think I'm going to live vicariously through you til I pull the trigger if you don't mind. ( actually I'm going to do it even if you do mind....just trying to be polite ). If you could at some point explain the process for changing voltage on your new baby. Is it kinda a pain and does the mechanism you adjust feel "solid"? How do you determine the set voltage since there is no display on it like the provari?

I probably could come up with a dozen or more questions. Perhaps it would be easier and a lot less irritating if you were to just ship that vari to me for a long term home inspection.

That's good to know. I want to get another nice mod...either a mini saber or a provari. But I already have a nice chrome v-tube and the saber has so many options like the passthrough that I'm really thinking of getting the mini saber now.

Yes, and with the Saber Mini and the Passthru, you can get so many Voltage options with the Adjustable AC Adapter, it's almost like have a VariVolt in a tiny size!
