Hey all,

I just recieved my order for my first e-cig, the safe cig from www.thesafecig.com. I am very pleased. It arrived 3 days after I placed the order. I am SHOCKED at how much vapor I can get from this thing. Substantially more than I've seen in various youtube videos. The flavor is very good. It is a little harsher than camel lights but it has a nice sweet, kind of flowery aroma to it. Very similar to a hookah. I ordered a bunch of e-juice from johnson creek and I'm very excited to try it out. I really would like to be able to try different flavors. Thats my only gripe with the safe cig is lack of flavors. The batteries are amazing though and compared to other reviews I have read this product is FAR SUPERIOR. Overall I'm very satisfied!

If this isn't spam, then I'd like to let you know that Safe Cig doesn't have the best reputation and is quite overpriced. The model is a RN4081 from what I can gather, and if you like it I'm sure you can find quite a few reputable suppliers on here with cheaper cartomizers and parts for that model.

LOL definitely not spam. I'm definitely a noob with this so if you can give me suggestions i would very much appreciate it!

I unfortunately did not come across this forum until after i placed the order. Good thing they have a money back guarentee :)

I love the amount of vapor, the battery life span and the charging capabilities but I would really like to have something with blank cartomizers and I'm curious about the manual battery. Where should I look?

Funny enough I am not an affiliate at all but I was just about to be one just because of how much I love this product. Then while doing a search for E-juice I came across a forum where they talked about a 501 and all these other brands I hadn't heard of before. Plus the refillable cartridges is really appealing to me. Needless to say, it sounds like there are even better options out there which is very exciting! Please share!!!

Sorry for the Spam accusations but for the first post it seemed like you were trying to sell some of those. When most people in here know they are not all that great. By the way they are lieing threw their teeth on the battery life. Maybe someone that is considered a lite vape could get one of those batteries to last that long. I would check out the review section of these forums to get a better idea of what you might want. Even if you do end up liking what they are selling the best you can get it for 50 dollars or less for a complete kit at different vendor.

If in fact it is a 4081, there is a forum just for that model. You can probably ask in there for confirmation that that is what model it is. If you really like it, there probably isn't a need to return it, unless you want to return it for a full refund and use the money to buy the same model from a site that sells a starter kit cheaper. Here is the forum for RN4081: RN 4081 *Super Mini*
There are indeed blanks available for that model. Good Prophets carries them, and they're a reputable supplier: The NEW GP Double Deuce 22 Cartomizers

If you want to try a different model, the KR808D-1 is a good two-piece model that is easy to learn with. I like Vapor4Life.com's XL batteries for their long life span and color options (all their batteries are variations of the KR808D-1). That company has excellent customer service, too, and they sell both prefilled and blank cartomizers. If you decide to buy from them, you can use the coupon code smilin for 10% off.

Hey Trash I've looked around the site trying to get more info but I'm not sure what the differences are. I checked out the kr808d and it looked pretty good except it seemed HUGE. I want to try a 2 piece system with cartomizer and manual battery. I'm extremely happy with the safe cig except for the price and no blank cartomizers. I would also like to have customizable colors if possible. Please advise. Thanks!!!

PS: I am so excited that I found out about vaping! I will NEVER go back to analog smokes!

Well, Vapor4Life offers the KR808D-1 in several different sizes, including the shorty battery, which isn't very big at all. The length is only 103mm (including a cartomizer). There are quite a few color options available as well.
Here's an image showing the size of the different batteries they offer:

Here is the link to their batteries page: Vapor King ECig Batteries

Would you like me to ask for you in the 4081 forum to see if that is definitely what the Safe Cig is since there are blanks available for it? Your post count is high enough that you can post in there now, but if you're feeling shy or something, I'll ask for you.

Hello,
Could you ask for me? I am new to forum and can't yet post to other places than here. I've only been vaping about 5-6 weeks and started with a safe-cig and quickly learned how expensive they are. I would like to be able to reuse the battery and or cartomizers so I don't feel like I totally wasted my hard earned$. Anything would be a help.
Thanks for any and all replys.

I made the post. You can find it here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rn-4081-super-mini/123660-safe-cig-rn4081.html

However, I also stumbled across this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/69327-safe-cig-huge-liquidation-sale-35-000-cartrigdes-being-sold-cheap.html
which pretty much confirms that it is an RN4081...and definitely confirms that it is compatible with RN4081, which is really all that matters. (I'm referring the to big red text "THESE WILL FIT MODEL NUMBER RN4081")

I've been researching for literally hours now lol and I'm maybe even more confused. I think my model is very close to the 4081, but people keep talking about using it with an automizer and explain the 2 different models and I'm not sure which one I have. I also could not find any information on the safe cig. Is there a reason people prefer a 3 part system with a separate automizer as opposed to a cartomizer?

Ahhh...ok...now I can see why you are confused. See, there are models like the KR808D-1 which were specifically designed to be a 2-part system using only a battery and a cartomizer (cartridge with a built in atomizer designed to be disposable...people have since figured out that you can clean and refill cartos though, so they don't have to be thrown out after only one use). Then there are 3-part systems that later had cartomizers designed to fit them because people were liking the ease of using cartomizers. The RN4081 falls into that category. Therefore, it can be used with cartomizers as a 2-part system or with a separate atomizer and cartridge.
I am quite certain that you do indeed have the RN4081. I'd probably bet money on it. I am 100% certain that your e-cig is compatible with it, which is really all that matters when buying parts for it (like cartomizers and chargers).
Hmm...the only two reasons I can guess someone would want to use a separate atomizer and cartridge instead of the cartomizers is because of people talking about the possibility of burning the cartomizer filler (it's not as easy to do as people think it is...I actually tested a few of my cartos to see if I could burn the filler, and I couldn't do it even when I tried to--taking long hard drags consecutively without letting the carto cool in between and vaping it even after I got a weird burned taste--I took them apart and there was no burned filler, only darkened liquid) or because they're dripping the liquid directly on the atomizer (supposedly gives you a cleaner taste and more vapor and throat hit...I've never tried it and don't really plan to...I like my cartomizers just fine and don't feel like constantly dripping liquid every few puffs).
Please take a look at your other thread here, as I posted a response with a lot of links that will probably be helpful. Man...keeping up with your threads...lol...

Aww ty. And it's no problem! I hope you enjoy posting and researching around here...there are a lot of really kind people who love to help those who are new to e-cigs...we were all newbies at some point, so most of us are more than happy to help others through the learning process. :)
