I have read some horror stories about this mod, but I actually kinda like it. So, for those of you that have or use this mod, how have you liked yours? Has it failed on you? If so, how long did it take to fail? Currently I'm running a .9 ohm single coil in my Igo-T on it with a 30 amp Efest battery FWIW. Do you think I may run into trouble even at .9?

Had mine since they were introduced, 2 actually.
I cleaned everything up and sanded all contact points. Replaced the bottom springs and don't vape below 1.0ohm.

So far, no problems at all.
Using a higher Amp rated Battery should actually help. It should reduce heat build up and lessen chance of failure.

Well I actually found that the bottom cap from my SVD fits on the bottom tube of the #20 and I get a substantially better vape out of it. Maybe making a better connection?

Did you swap bottom cap with spring? If so, spring is the Difference. Cap is SS and not a problem.

Yep, the whole bottom cap from the SVD. Seems to be working good so far. The only portion of the unit that gets hot is the dripper. No heat in the switch what so ever, even when I railed on it for a little while.

Then I'd definitely grab the Spring I linked. Proven Quality - Color means little, it is the metal properties that make or break conductivity.

You could lightly Sand the TOP/Bottom of the original spring and inside the Cap and wipe with alcohol. Then test it again.
