The Stealth Necklace Mod

Wanted something I could keep on me while working without having to pull out a full PV. I figured the easiest way to change batts would be to have a plug connection between the battery source and necklace itself. Otherwise I might be pullin my neck around trying to change batts

I've been dripping in it for starters, but I figure it'll work best with a cart.

2xAAA battery box
10440 battery 360mAH
DC plug type N w/ soldering points
Old 1/8 plug to RCA cable (sheilded and easy to split)
Beads from old necklace
510 connector and atty

All I've got left to do is cover up the exposed wiring at the DC plug with some electrical tape and its good to go!

Looks good but wouldn't it be kind of messy if it leaked from the cart on your shirt, not so stealth then I guess but a good idea

Carts = No Leaks. It hangs cart side down, so there's nowhere for it to leak out.

Still waiting on 14500's from DX, but once they're in, the 5v battery box will be in the works!!

Wouldn't it be easier to use if you put a switch in the wire at the atty end? That would also give you more options for other power supplies, wall wart, lighter plug... with the same device. Looks good though, glad it's working for you.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did consider this, but didn't like the idea of trying to fit a switch into the necklace portion of the mod. Certainly would have been possible (probably easier), but I was attempting to keep it as stealth as possible. Can you imagine a 1.5A switch hanging off that thing!?
