I've been watching events unfold around the world. Especially in the Middle East, and I feel an urgency deep in my spirit that these are indeed the last days, even the last "minutes" of this age.

I just want to shout from the rooftops that time is running out!! Please don't risk your eternal soul!! Don't believe the lies of the enemy, and his minions!! God is calling out to the lost, those who are hurting deep inside, those who are ready to just give up, or who feel they cannot take another day.

In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says:
28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

That doesn't mean that our lives will be carefree after we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. However, it does mean that He is always there with us, no matter what. Nothing can separate us from His love for us. As it is written in His Word--

Romans 8:38-39 says:
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Wow! What an unbreakable and abiding love He has for us!! Just as we are. We don't have to "clean ourselves up first" before He accepts us. He loves us just as we are at this very moment in time!

He loves us enough--as the sinners that we all are--that He gave His only Son to die for us.

And when we make that ultimate decision to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He is with us forever. For eternity. And the angels in Heaven rejoice!!

You may be asking, what happens "when I get saved"? You become a new creation in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says:
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

You may be thinking, "Well, then what do I do"? The most important thing is to buy a Bible, and start reading it every day. Even just a few minutes a day to start. God will reveal to you His understanding and wisdom in what you read. Reading your Bible is the way to get to know Him, and learn about Him.
Don't let anything distract you from learning about Him. This is how we start to grow as a Christian. We all start out as babes in Christ, and day by day we grow and mature. Our growth is not an instant process. Just like a baby learns to crawl, then walk, so do we grow as Christians. Each of us is at a different stage of growth.

It is up to us to keep growing, and learning. No one else can do it for us. But what a joyful journey it can be!! Eternal life!! WOW!! All the mysteries of the universe will be revealed to us in His time.

He calls to each of us, and He wants us to choose Him--today!
Not tomorrow, next week or next year. We are only guaranteed today. So what better time to choose Him?
Jesus said in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Hold on to Him, its a glorious journey!! Amen!

Preach it Sister!! I could hear your spirit and soul speaking. We all need to witness like there is no tomorrow, because there may not be a tomorrow.

The middle east is on fire for unrest.....even more than usual. I can only imagine the fear within the people. We are spoiled as war has been extremely limited on our soil, in our lifetimes. The people in the middle east live this most everyday. Yes, we have crimes committed daily, but that is different than having terrorist attacks happen in your front yard. War is a way of life over there, with Israel being in the cross hairs 24/7. I can't even imagine. But, God will not abandon Israel as she has His heart.

War and politics and the actions of men are always worrisome, but natural occurances are making me think the same thing. Just here in my neighborhood (Tidewater area Virginia) last week there was a swamp fire that covered miles with ash and we breathed smoke for days. It is still burning, to my knowlege, but isn't as bad. We had an earthquake Monday. There was no damage, but it was very unusual. Now we are getting ready for a hurricane.

We are having labor pains and the contractions are getting closer together.

Hello to you too. It goes well (but we could use some prayers for financial issues) My husband and I just started college, so I have been rather busy.

I've been trying to stay off the internet so much. I'm not having much luck with that one. I read the posts here, but I do miss interacting with you all.

Angel, I was thinking about you the other day, wondering if you were a school girl or not, as yet. It's great that you read the posts. Maybe you can give yourself 15 minutes a day for posting in here.....or 10 minutes a day. I can get lost within these posts, but time yourself by your microwave timer. When it dings, you finish up and that's it for another day. That way you won't have withdrawal pains!:p
