Today was my first true test! My husband was working my nerves and normally I would RUN or should I say SPRINT to get a cigarette after dealing with him! Today I just grabbed my V2 and vaped away! That was the true test because he takes me there.

Now ya'll will find this funny...I JUST got the V2 on Thursday of last week. Why did he say, during our argument, "are you out of nicotine?" Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! I guess that's gonna be his new thing now.

LOL, that is a test. In previous attempts to quit smoking, I think my husband and I used to start fights with each other, just to find an excuse to storm out of the house...down to the store...to buy a pack of smokes.
I agree that it is important to figure out the moments when you are most driven to smoke and then figure out a way to make vaping work for you then. Good work!
I was a little crabby last night (my husband and I are doing this together) and he asked "Is your battery dying?"

You should totally cheat on him.

Kidding!

Tell your hubby I said you're doing a good thing for yourself by moving to PV's and away from cigarettes and that he should be more supportive. And if he's not, I'm here for you. :D

Too funny! LOL! I will keep that in mind if he keeps taking me there! :) Even though I have the V2 this is a huge adjustment for me and of course my nerves are gonna be on edge. He needs to chill or shoot maybe he needs to start vaping. LOL!

I think my girlfriend is also wanting me to eventually be done with the whole thing, vaping, smoking, etc. however the best argument I have found is the following. When I don't smoke, I want to eat sweets. Weight gain is as bad for you as smoking is, however if I can get the sweet flavor with vaping and continue to step down the nicotine every so often then eventually the idea is to remove the nicotene completely and be left with nothing but flavored vapor.

If anyone has an issue with flavored vapor, offer to take up smoking again, perhaps a pipe or cigars, something you don't really inhale but also something that most people can't stand the smell of and that leaves that same smoky film all over everything. They always choose the lesser of the two perceived evils :)

It must be a woman thing. You never hear of a man getting crabby when he is out of nicotine.
:2cool:

:)

:vapor::closedeyes::confused:

You have to excuse me, I'm just an old man that likes to have fun. :2cool::vapor:
I've been known to get down right mean without my nicotine. :grr: I hope I didn't offend you girls!!!!:2cool::vapor:

Haha, women get "crabby", but men are just "a-holes" ;)

IMO there are aren't any GIRLS here. Lots of women and a few ladies, though;)

I started vaping in August, and THOUGHT I had bought my last pack....until my husband really got me PO'ed, so I did buy and smoke an entire pack in November. Only reason I smoked all of them was I did not want him to!

Next time he gets me mad (and I KNOW there will be a next time) I am going to by a box of his favorite candy (sno caps) and eat the entire box in front of him. LOL
