I'd ask that in the DIY section - I just looked but they don't seem to have a catchall "Here is how to get started with DIY and nic mixing" email. It would be nice if they had a "DIY 101: Nic Version" type sticky post to point people towards.
I spent a few weeks reading the DIY section before going ahead with the 100mg stuff.
From a "you have the stuff now, we might as well help you to use it as safely as possible" standpoint (you intend to use it, otherwise you wouldn't have bought it, right? the decision has been made) I'll PM you what I do when I mix it, and here's a link for the mixing calculator I use: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...e-calculator-added-quantity-calculations.html (read big chunks of this thread; it is very helpful). Download the Excel spreadsheet that Scubatdan has made, it will help with the calculations.
I fail to see how anyone could have missed the howling about how dangerous this stuff is, but - don't even open the bottle unless you have & are wearing latex gloves, splash protection and a face shield. Keep your mouth closed and I wear goggles under the face shield. You don't want this stuff in your mouth or eyes, or on you. Treat it like if you get it on you, it's game over, etc.

I was really only kidding guys...silly joker me! I have been diying for a couple months now. I am down to half a bottle of 125ml -60mg strength. I have been diying for friends lately. I feel like a chemist now! I havn't bought a bottle of juice since juicy clear opened up back in February. But now that I see he is on again, I will be getting my Canadian Full Flavor!
What are you using to cut down your nic? I found 250ml bottles of VG at Shoppers for 5.99, labeled as 'Glycerin USP'. Gonna make a litre of the stuff at 24mg and ship off half of it to a pal who missed the NorthernVapor sale.

I think 100mg is moral acceptable, question answered, I have used 250 and cut in half to 125mg to mix with hows that grab ya ?

Any DIYers in here have a favorite recipe to share? Lorann flavoring is easiest for me to get hold of; seems every recipe I find that I want to try uses FlavorArt or Perfumer's Apprentice flavoring though

Look for a farm supply store (TSC or Co-op type) or "feed store" in the yellow pages. You'll find gallon bottles (4L) there for around $35.00.
PG is used to treat cattle. Read the bottle and make sure it ONLY PG in it, its USP grade and the bottle is sealed, and you are good to go.
Outside of buying bulk at one extreme or small and expensive from the drug store, this is one of the few sources.

how is the shoppers Glycerin USP working for you? I bought same from shoppers and it vapes Ok, but not sure about safe use. It has "for external use only" on the bottle but searching these forums and google in general it seems to go both ways for a) being Ok to vape and b) should be food grade USP glycerin only for vaping.
Given the USP standard, the formula should be exact same for either food grade or external use. Food grade glycerin USP would probably be the best choice but alot harder to find.
I would not vape anything but usp food grade anything! UGH you guys! My mom uses pg at the nursing home for dissenfecting! Not sure if that is vape safe or what. There are tons of places that sell ups food grade glycerine, happy jack does, Perfumers's apprentice does, one stop diy shop does, and tons of vendors do. I really would advise to only get usp guys! Please be careful ok!
