The effects of climate change can be seen in our every day lives. Weather patterns are becoming increasingly disrupted and unpredictable and significant warming trends have been seen over the last century. During the last 40 years, the UK's winters have grown warmer, with heavier bursts of rain. The summers are growing drier and hotter - one of the starkest changes over the last 200 years is our summers have become drier causing widespread water shortages. The last 6 years have been the warmest years since records began1 .
But we thought great yeah a warmer UK just what we want lol,But what they forgot to tell us is this- yes it will be nice and hot-but the truth is, its hot but overcast all the time, sticky and horrible and getting worse every year,My grandad of 80 says hes seen nothing like it in the last 10 years,In his day summer was summer and it was guaranteed now its just a muddle of sun to rain to snow to frost all mixed into one, what does the future hold?
