hey all and thank you for helping out answering my noobish questions.... So i am wondering who actually makes the VAMO? i am considering going mod since my twist has become faulty and now i am back to my backup stardard ego battery. i just want the best bang for my buck considering i am on a budget and i would have to get the batteries and a charger. I have also heard about some of the vamo's screen covers falling off? were they just off branded vamo's or what? I would also like to make sure its the version 2 because of the upgraded springs. all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

There are several manufactures that are listing as making the VAMO. Only thing we are sure of is that it's made in China.
While there have been many vocal users having issues, there are even more users that have been happy with them.
There are 2 in my home. The wife keeps hers pretty much safe, and also uses her eVic more now. Mine has been dropped, kicked, knocked over and general treated as a piece of metal. It has a cracked screen, which has never fallen off, and a few dents and dings and the 510 connection area is slightly off kilter now.. but it's working it's but off still after 3 months of constant heavy vaping!

I'm confused on the Vamo.
I see these prices for $40-$50.
Is that just the tube or does this include charger and batteries?

Sorry Matt if this is jacking your thread.

Depends on the seller. You can get them from $26.99 to $60 for just the VAMO it's self or from $33.99 to $80 with batteries and charger..
Best to look at the description from where you decide to try to buy it at.

I can second this recommendation for exhale vapors.

For batteries I went here which had good prices and FREE shipping:

Efest IMR 18350 800mAh 3.7V LiMn Battery Flat Top or Nipple Tops (2PCS)

I was cautioned about the charger that is to come with my SS model from Ocean Vapors, so I ordered a recommended model. Also, it is important to buy IMR unprotected batteries for safety. I bought IMR Hybrid 2250mAh Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 With Button Top High Drain Battery Cell 3.7V Li-Mn-Li-ion.

Well I wanted to shop local because I didn't want to wait over a month to get my Vamo. The reason I ordered from High Desert Vapes is because it was the only place that I could find that had everything I needed in one place. I didn't want to pay multiple shipping charges. The high desert vapes Vamo V2 kit comes with the Vamo V2, a charger, 1x 18650 battery and 2x ce4 clearomizers for $59.99. I also ordered 2x 18350 batteries in the same order so I can have a back up battery and an option to run in the mini version of the Vamo as well. Grand total that I spent with shipping was around $75 for everything you need to get started with the Vamo. There is also a coupon code for first time buyers that gives you 10% off as well, coupon code is "newb" without the quotes.

i would like the kit with the batteries and charger. but whats the best battery to put in the vamo because i see that the 18650's wiggle alot and can sometimes turn the device off but i also work long hours and need a battery to last me all day without carrying batteries in my pocket along with the device. not to mention everything else in my pockets such as keys, and phone. needs to be really durable.

You could run 2x 18350 batteries in the Vamo which I have read around here give it a little bit of a more snug fit. But the Vamos that are being sold today should have the new gold spring installed in the cap to alleviate any wiggle.

Also the 18350 e-fest unprotected batteries are $6.99 as well.
