Is there anyplace where all the big vape conventions (with dates, etc) are all in one place? It seems like I hear about them a week or two before they pop off and I never have time to prepare.

I'm going to make an effort to hit the road this year... is there any such thing as a one stop shop for this info??

February 28th Vape in the Fort here in Fort Wayne Indiana. I'll be there, would love to meet you guys Clark!

Do you know who is going to be at this (vendor-wise)? I know Phil Bustard is going to be there. Their Facebook page is scarce on detail, but I was really considering driving over to go to this event next month.

They have two facebook pages. One is a newer page with current info including a pic of a poster that lists the vendors, they posted that on the 6th. The newer page is spelled with the letter i in the word "in" in lower case.

Thanks! They recently updated these things since I last checked them a few days ago.

For anyone thinking of attending a vaping convention for the first time, I am going to repeat advice that I have given before.

Go through everything first before you buy a single thing. Write down or make note of items of interest as you go along. Go back and revisit the booths that have items you are interested in to make your purchases. It is very easy to spend a lot of money and then you come across something you want really badly, only to have to walk away. Take as much money with you as you are willing to spend and leave everything else at home. Lots of places will be giving away free stuff. Don't take it if you don't want it. You will just have to lug it around and then spend money or energy at a later date trying to get rid of it.

That being said, I hope you get the most out of your experience, come home with lots of goodies and not hate yourself for it later.

Great advice, Pen. What's a convention like?

Visibility can sometimes get low when you have a lot of vaping going on. Very busy, with so many goodies to catch the eye that you can be parted with every last dollar very quickly. This is the best place I can think of to take your mod/atty combos and find that matching drip tip :)

I am like a kid in a candy store at conventions. I take a break from the wares by listening to the guest speakers because they give you a heads up on pending legislation as well as new mod unveiling and such. Very much worth going to, even if all you take is $40.00 to spend. If you can get your hands on a small lightweight fold-up stool to sit on, it is helpful as long as you don't mind carrying it. Outdoor supply stores usually sell a cheap lightweight stool or folding chair for under $20.00. I take one because it is nice to sit down. Some conventions supply seating so check first.

I so wish my husband would go and we could get a care provider for my son for that day. I just can't get him past the gas station vuse e-cigs that we started on. He flat out refuses any juices I offer and says that I replaced one addiction for another. Maybe if I could get him talked into this he might change his mind.

Will having him attend our mini-meet in the Spring help?

It might! He's from the Hills of Kentucky, very Appalachian. He's weary of meeting people from the internet, but he see's what comes in and out of our home. He knows that it is friends, it's just friends I've not met yet.

I might be able to help by example how you can drop nic level and slow down the amount of vaping over time.
