Other than than the tiny bit left in the clearo, I'm out of a particular flavor of e liquid. Is it safe for the clearo if I vape the very last of the e liquid in it? Or should I clean it and refill with a different (but similarly flavored) e liquid?
What I'm trying to avoid is any long lasting burnt taste. If one or two puffs taste burned, it's ok, I just don't want to permanently have a burned taste until I switch heads.
I hate wasting any e liquid....

If the next juice is close in flavor, you could just top it up with the new.

Of course, someone's "tiny bit" could be someone else's fumes, but if you tilt and twirl to keep the wick wet, you should be ok. Just make sure the wick is wet!

You don't say what kind of clearo, but in general, you'll not burn a clearo, but get a "dry hit" when the wick goes dry. A thorough clean with, maybe, a dry burn, will usually restore it. Silica wick doesn't burn at vaping temps.

It's an iclear 16. I vaped it (just now) until there was no more liquid to swirl around, but the wicks still look saturated. I might just clean it out now. Thanks for the advice! :)

it shouldn't burn unless you are using cotton but you will completely drain the tank and have to vape for a few hours to completely dry out the cotton. if you want to change flavors you can dap the wicks with a napkin to soak up the old juice. (i'm not sure how iclears are set up if you can do that, portank and evod you can't)

Unless it's like a menthol, cinnamon or other really strong heavy duty flavor, a clean and dry burn will get rid of any of the old juice.

I do this all the time. Cinnamon and menthol have a tendency to stick. I'd imagine licorice might also but I hate licorice so I don't know.

Even a heavy citrus wont stick around after a decent cleaning and dry burn.

As someone above said, you can't burn a silica wick, not truly. It might look a little scortched and it will eventually become frayed and wear out on you, but it resists burning because its not really rope, it's fiber glass.

when I was new all there was, was penstyle ecigs. before the flashlight mods even started. lol.

I first tried e cigs around 2003-2005 (not positive on dates). I tried a cig alike with atomizers and cartridges, and I think cartomizers were a newer thing then (??). I hated it, and didn't look into it again until a couple of months ago, when I saw that Blu was available at Walgreens. I stopped at local B&M, which was also a tobacco shop (I stopped in for cigs previously and saw all the e cig stuff) for new Blu cartridges, and walked out with a 650 Ego C passthrough and CE4 clearo! I have been experimenting with e cigs since then, and it's been such a positive change in my life! :)
Well, except for the fact that I can't seem to stop buying e cig stuff......
