Well, I managed to break my vmod the second day. I took it to work the first night I had it and it was great. Lots of vapor, some taste (my taste buds are for ...., nothing tastes like what its supposed to) and 1 battery lasted 9-10 hours.
Then something happened, I would put a new battery in and it would fire once or twice then nothing. I tried it with 2 different batteries. Both batteries worked fine when plugged into my vv box.
I tried a different carto, no effect.
So i'll call them later today and arrange to send it back. I just hope it doesn't take forever. I really like the vmod.

The first thing I would try would be to wash the unit out with hot water & some dish soap. Let dry. Make sure the battery contact pints are clean. See if you can tell if the Paperclip looking connectors are all in contact where they should be.

And AG, you are right. It's a funny thing, but the VMOD loves to be washed! Clean yer mod, not yer attys, LOL.
The Puck is a battery box mod that can be built entirely from parts from Radio Shack. I am a 510 user so unfortunately, I did have to take apart an Ego for the battery connector since the Puck is designed around 901 atomizers. It's a cool little box that's super cheap to make and is a good intro to modding. Here's the link to the forum post on how to build it:

This might sound silly, but make sure its fully in the "on" position.
It's just another way that contact could seem to be fluctuating on and off and worth checking out just in case the button got shifted for some reason.

I called them up and I'm sorry that I didn't get the name of the person I talked to, he's my newest hero.
They are sending me out a new vmod, i don't even have to return the old one. This is customer service.

If you haven't already ordered one please do so now. Or maybe wait to see how long it takes for the replacement to arrive.
When the new gets here I'll compare the two to see if I can tell what happened.

How long does it taken to get. i ordered on Friday? I have the reg H-att on my reo working good got from cov.
Their shipping says 1-7 days. I think I've seen everything in between posted here. Ordered mine 7/27 and it's not here yet, but as I stated earlier I think my case is an outlier. Hopefully tomorrow for us.
my first unit died. most likely i forgot to lock the button and it over fired in my pocket, spring had collapsed. brand new unit in my hand.

I will have some 2.2 attys coming soon have one of the original ones messed up sent it back, Brian said they would send me 2 to replace it and there were 2 missing from my original order(thanks again Brian). Going to wait and see if there is new stuff early new week and probably going to try some more flavors from NLV.
