I managed to make some o-rings (the ones that go around the threaded end of each atty / carto). Thought I'd share what I did. Maybe someone can improve on the method!

1. Using a condom from a carto (top of pic)
2. cut it down to about 1/4 inch (size is not critical). (second from top)
(if the condom has a .... plug you can invert the condom and snip off the plug)
*IMPORTANT* using a sharpie or pen- place a dot in the center of the condom (on the outer / bottom side). Get this as centered as you can
3. using a hand held / single hole punch- slide the condom over the post on the hole punch
*IMPORTANT* get the pen mark you made in the center of the hole of the hole punch.
(this may take 1 or 2 trial and errors to get the hole in the center) (third from top).
4. Punch a hole in the condom (fourth from top)
5. Take an old atty / carto (make sure it's completely dead* cause it will never work again after this step (LOL). Place the open end (non threaded end) into the modified condom.
Strike the threaded end of the dead atty / carto with a hammer. **Do this on a piece of old wood. 2 or 3 taps should cut the condom. Use OLD WOOD in case you hit too hard- you will damage whatever surface you are working on.
6. An original o ring on the left- mine on the right. It's not 100% centered but I have been using it without leaks!

*I'm not dead yet- I feel better!

Caution about the cracking.

The crack on my VMod has extended over time to about 7mm and has widened. This morning I had trouble getting it to feed using the tilt-wait for bubble-upright squeeze method. Took the sleeve off to get a closer look. What I found after inverting it until I see the bubbles is that when I turn it back upright the juice will not stay in the neck resulting in a dry chamber feed. I'm going on a hunch that since it weeps liquid from the crack that it's also letting air in resulting in the fluid having no means of staying in the neck. Like when you put your finger on a straw in a drink and release it. I found feeding more like the instructions works but tends to overfeed easily.

I placed my order last Thursday- it showed 'processed' every day- but then the VMod appeared in my mail box this past Monday. (I'm on Long Island, NY, so you can't get too much further away from CA than I am.. )
Hang in there- it is worth the wait
That's good to know , thanks . I keep seeing processed and it make's me think it has not shipped .

I'm bummed, both my carto and atty have the burnt taste when I'm hitting them. They are good for a couple of hits and then back to the burnt taste. They're not dry. Took it apart and there was seepage, I'm thinking from the crack? When I took the cone off the outside of atty and carto were wet also. Was doing the tilt, bubbles, upright, squeeze, blow lil smoke ring out of top of tip, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Yep doing the dry pull on atty too. Doesn't taste burn if I drip liquid in. Just started today. Put in fresh batt, so I don't know what else to do. Soaking atty now, not sure how long to do that, guess it can't hurt if I soak too long?
