Well, after comparing the new chasis to the old chasis, and making some calculations, a killer thread is possible. After all, the first bottle that started leaking is the one with the juice i used most, and after i ditched that one and started using the other, after a similar number of hours it started leaking too.

Also, in my new chasis, the wire that goes under the bottle thread is different. It goes around the thread and goes under it near the chasis seam. Almost 1 inch of it is visible.

I'll try to fix it, but honestly i won't suggest it to anyone.

Anyone get to try the new VMod full kit Brian just brought back from China and/or know the price for the package deal? I've been in email contact with Brian to try to get one sent/arrive before the weekend but it's been a little hit and miss and I still don't know the cost... Feedback? If I don't get this one ~ anyone have a second fav mod they would recommend? Thanks.

It is my understanding that all of the new stuff Brian brought back will be available after vapefest, which is when? TOMORROW!! So I would say optimistically next week after updating web site...

My Vmod leaks (or pours) now and then, but I don't care. It stays within the chassis and doesn't get on my hands, so no biggie. It vapes like a champ and that's all that really matters. :)

Btw, Vmodders...I got my 14500's in today. They're charging right now. I hope I'm not totally disappointed going from 6.4 volts to 3.6.

Wishing all who attend VF a great time! I'm so sorry I can't be there!!! Best wishes, Brian!

Is anyone using both the 1st run and the 2nd run chassis? If so, do you notice anything peculiar about the use of 1st run vs. 2nd attys on them? Just curious...

I think any disappointment in battery voltage will be made up for by the length of time between changing batts!

You really shouldn't be getting internal leaks anymore. My unit has been totally dry for weeks now. Check the upper seal & make sure it's a good fit around the atty.

It's easy to over feed when the battery gets low. It'll seem like the atty is dry, but it's really a lack of power. Over feeding will still cause a leak, because the juice has to go somewhere.

It's true that it is easier to flood on a low battery, but when everything is right even that won't make it leak. I dunno, maybe I'm just lucky. But since I've gotten mine it's been in CONSTANT use and has had close to 100 ml fed through it. I haven't had a single drop leak in the chassis (or out). There have been times on a low battery that I've flooded it horribly and was sure I'd find the inside soaked, but when I took it apart.... not a drop. My buddy has been running his nonstop for 2 weeks now (his first PV) and also has never seen a drop of leakage.

I can see where if something is off it could cause leakage but the design is sound and I'm real world proof that when all is right it just *doesn't* leak. I'm sure those that have leakage have a simple problem (maybe not so simple to find, but when you do, it will be simple to fix). Don't lose hope, it's worth it to have such a hassle free vape!

Again, it could be that I'm just lucky (well, me AND my buddy). I have a second on the way. I guess we will see if lightning can strike three times! :)

And btw, the next one coming certainly won't be my last. I like to have 3 flavors always ready, plus a backup or two. I'm selling off everything else, despite the fact that all the others were much more expensive, because this thing is just THAT GOOD.
