Got a lil' Vmod story for ya:) Today I filled my VMod up with KBV Pepermint Ice Cream and put in a fresh batt(and a couple in pocket) and headed out the door. I started driving down the road while puffin away, then just put my vMod on on the seat beside me. I continued driving and finally about 15 miles or more down the road, I went to pick it up to take a puff and OUUUCHHH!! The VMod cone was burnin" HOT8-o Yes it had been firing for I don't know how long(couldn't hear it sizzzling over Mudvayne:lol:), but it was extremly HOT!!!! So I let it cool down(took a while), all the while thinking oh no, I didn't bring a backup silo:facepalm: But finally I took a puff and it still was FREAKIN' AWESOME:w00t: No burnt taste:banana: And it's still going strong(and flavorful) right now!!!! So what did I learn in all this you ask:?: Well,

1...Always flip the Vapage battery upsidedown to avoid contact and accidental firing:facepalm:
And
2...Just that the the Silo is THEEE BADDEST FREAKIN' CARTO on the market:w00t:(but I already knew that:laugh:) Tell me, 15 miles down the road firing non stop(1.8 ohm) and it still performs flawlessly and it has no burnt taste:w00t: I don't know any other that can do that, at least nothing I've tried:blush:

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it:glare:

I thought you were going to tell a story about batts coming in contact with change in your pocket and giving you a hot leg! :)

Man, that happened to me with a 14500...sucked big time! I make sure to never carry change in the same pocket as my batteries now. The funny thing is, ever since that happened (its been years)...I still get a "phantom" burning sensation, and I have to check to make sure I didnt do it again!

I think I now understand the reason for the very different "like" level for the Silos. They are, like Kangers etc, horizontal coil cartos that theoretically can't burn. But the coil has to be centered with the glass fiber wick. Both the ones I got are defective; the coil is way over to the side, burning whatever.

The XLs accepting standard cartos and freeing Vapage from having to deal with Chinese QA on EVERYTHING at once is a very good move IMHO. I think the XL is gonna be IT.

Could someone pls. post a photo/diagram of the new feed mechanism, and how the juice enters a standard 510 carto/atty?

Report from the 510 carto-on-VMod SL (or XL) front. The 1.7 ohm "Resurrectors" work great for well over a week, then suddenly the draw drastically stiffens and it's time for a new one. The 2 ohm Boge work great for 4+ days, then gradually get juice-logged and make squirshing harder and it's time for a new one. They are a bit long, but Resurrectors win.

yeah I'm only vaping 6mg nic i hope to cut down on the juice but during this time of just starting and dropping the analogs i and my wife don't care what it takes so after xmas then start cutting back if the 357 on the xl works as good as i hope then it should last a lot longer and hopefully can start mixing diy to save on juice collecting the supply now

Chopper, take your time. It took me a year to go from 30mg/ml to 10 and now 10 seems strong, and I'm moving slowly to 5. I happens painlessly and almost spontaneously, but DIY is definitely important as you can change it at any moment. The difference in cost is astounding (and wonderful) too.

As to the base, IMHO the less PG the better, it's a solvent that affects many different organ systems. The detail that it's a slight sedative was very useful to me while quitting cigs, but afterwards it just slowed me down. At the huge amounts vapers inhale, it's very different from e.g. a pharm using some in a medical inhaler.

yup i understand thats why I'm sticking with making 6mg work for me even if i vape more often and i was given some 24mg and don't want to start getting used to it so i was able to get a gallon of 100% pg not the 99% and its pharma grade and also some vg as well so i can stretch out all the high nic that i was given and i will watch for the effects as for now most of what i use is 80/20 but if the vg is much better to use than like A.G. said 50/50 i will try that first if its good than great i seem to know right away if i like it or not and i got some pg only juice and didn't feel right in an hour thanks for all the advice guys
