Are your cousins concerned about the global climate change at this point perhaps slowing them down somewhat, or are they up high enough?

In Northern CA, the wine grape growers are already suffering at the loss of some of their crops - warming up too quickly - not by a lot, but even the modest winter temp. increase has affected the grapes.

I haven't really heard much about that part of it Sea...But I suppose it does effect the timimg on when the sap runs & can be drawn alot...
it has to be a certain temp for the sap to flow followed by a cold night....

O. K. Today is the big game..I need to hide out! I destest sports and this game is the ONLY one I watch with hubby. I just hope he falls asleep early...off to make some chicken wings!

I hate sports too, who wants to sit around and watch a bunch of men tackle each other and all that yelling and screaming, I'm gonna hide in my sewing room and quilt!

Right now I'm sitting here looking out the window watching my north neighbor sit outside smoking a cigarette. Wishing I had a spare starter kit, b/c he looks kind of cute in the distance. I'm going to see if I can find my late father's binoculars, LOL.

Well I already dropped $100 at the dollar store -- does that count? (canned goods: salmon, hearts of palm, garbanzos, tomatoes, salsa, grn olives, blk olives; pasta, onions, peppers, dark chocolate and several bags of flax seeds; for my pups -- chicken livers).

I don't have anything fun to share for this windy, cold, rain-puddled day. Maybe in the evening, I'll see if I can find a 20-lb turkey to put in my roaster tomorrow. My frozen dogfood supply is dwindling. Luckily they're little guys (yorkies).
