Turned 60 last week. Didn't really feel any different. Thought I was still running on all 4 cylinders. Not so, it seems.
As a logger, I have to get up really early--like 1:30 AM to gear up and head out to work. So I get prepared the night before. I have two commercial juices that I mix 50/50 in my Grand bottle which gets me through the day and I also stow a replacement 18650 battery in a plastic container to change out late in the day.
Well.......today I went to change out my battery(I keep it in my lunchbox) and all I found there was the two commercial juice bottles.
Of course, when I got home, I found what I already knew--my battery was in the refrigerator where I keep my juices.
Somebody get the net.

Just this morning I locked my keys inside my pickup with the engine running.

The spare was on my wife's keyring and she was long gone.

The first time I locked my keys in truck, way out in community college parking lot, summer 100+ F, with really important appointment, came back out, finally flagged someone who had a blade small enough to slide into cab back window, I was wearing heels and tight skirt, I rigged it so I could break in from then on. Really came in handy so many times. Slipping through the small space, back windows, over seats, with skirts on was a bit difficult but could do it then. Not sure if I can manage it now days. Never trusted those magnetic boxes for spare keys.

Back in 80's DH and I locked Mastiff in running diesel Blazer, (diesel always because you could run AC for 24 hours in 100F temps without engine getting hot) while off to Barton Springs. Yeah, we were "feeling no pain." No way we could figure out how to break in without damaging anything. Luckily shady character stumbled in and helped us out. Shady characters do have purpose.

No worry of Mastiff getting stolen. He would have eaten anyone who got too close. Now days I have to take Moe Doodle with me and Jake Mastiff to keep Big Whoss from getting himself stolen. Little Moe Doodle is formidable.

Just a FYI for anyone who uses those.....even if you own a pickup truck and it's tall....sticking it on top of it doesn't help...I can still see it! lol
