After years of vaping and spending countless amount of money on different mods and accessories, the current set up I have is this: Pioneer 4U IPV4 and the Royal Hunter RDA. I also use Cotton Bacon for the Wick. This has been by far the best and fulfilling set up in my 3 years of vaping. I usually get my stuff from lower48vapes because those people seem to know what the best vaping products are. They just started, but there close and reliable for me. Does anybody else have this set up like me? If so, what do you think about it?

I have the Pioneer IPV4 D2 and currently running a Stumpy RDA and it's awesome! Great setup and you should get good mileage out of that one.

Nice Set-up, used to have that one as well. But, it wasn't quite enough for me - I was a heavy smoker and the cloud this set up produces is insane. The flavors come out so well and the cloud exhaled always draws people to me to ask what I have. But not a bad set-up you have either... :)

This is my first regulated mod. I'm really liking it. I've been a mech person since I got out of my Ego days. I normally vape at around 80W with the builds I do, but I've been going at this IPV at 50W and it's really satisfying. I tried it with a Kanger ST mini, and while it was pretty good for a tank, I just couldn't get the big hits I like, so I'm using it like a mech, only regulated.

After getting the royal hunter a few months ago, I've not been able to match the flavor on any of my other rda's, regardless of coil, wick, juice or temp control. It's my go-to flavor rda right now. I just ordered my second and third royal hunters to have a little more flexibility in switching flavor categories. It runs great on my sigelei 150 tc and my ar mech. Cheers

Have you tried the Derringer? I'm trying to decide whether I should get the Derringer or Royal Hunter. I like the looks of Derringer better because it's so compact, but I also care about flavour.

Out of curiosity could you list some RDA(s) you've tried over those three years? I'd especially be interested to see if the Royal Hunter out performs the old Aeolus, Vector, and Darkhorse, as those are the only ones I've tried. The Royal Hunter is affordable, and hasn't even made it on my radar before now...nice thread! Might just have to go buy one.

Is this a (not so) stealth advertisement?

I bought two derringers at a local vape shop for 14.99 each.

When I take a good strong lung hit I have to dry my tongue with a napkin as the juice really comes thru the drip tip and into

your mouth........just my observation.......you may have a different experience.......

I had the derringer for a while, but eventually gave it to my friend because I was tired of getting spit on by the juice. Also, it's great for flavor chasers who don't care about clouds as much, but I'm greedy and like to try to get great flavor and huge clouds.

The only of those three I own is the dark horse. I find it gets too hot too quickly on some of my super sub ohm 20g kanthal builds. It does have good flavor when paired with a ni200/nichrome Clapton or other temp control build though. I have gotten to try a friend's aeolus, and I was impressed. The price tag on an authentic is the only thing keeping me away from it. Cheers!
