This supplier recently started a contest on his forum to attempt to get new members to join it. He/she's not a registered supplier here on this forum, so they kinda snuck in a thread here to tap into the growing amount of members here to help themselves out. This contest was apparently a fraud. It reached it's end on 4/28. After we all waited several days to hear the results, we were told it would be announced on 5/4. I was the winner of this and replied on 5/5. I received the following reply the next day (5/6):

"We ship our giveaways out when we make sure we are caught up on all orders. This may take 7-10 days before your package ships. Hope you understand.

You will get a tracking number sent on here for the kits when it ships.

All we ask is that you enjoy the Forum,Welcome new members and share your vaping experience with new users."

Well, that was the last I heard. I've tried to find out if there was a hold up and if there was anything I could do to assist. Haven't heard back. Apparently they really didn't intend to come through with their contest. I hope nobody has gotten burned by this supplier who actually paid money to them. If they're applying to be an official supplier here on ECF, I for one, vote NO!

Heard from the supplier today. Said they're waiting on a shipment of these kits to arrive, so whenever these get here, they'll ship it out. Guess they had more out-going orders than they had kits in stock. I thought about editing my original post, but seeing how things have gone, I'll leave it there for others to see. As to my vote on their supplier status (not that this is official or counts in any way other than to you, the reader), I'll change it to indifferent. It seems as if they're going to come through after all, it's just taken quite awhile. Over 2 weeks to ship is quite extreme. They're probably better with thier paying customers, and maybe as their company gets larger, they can afford to take better care of those they ship to.

So, I heard Friday of last week that they were going to get a shipment of these kits in that day and they would set one of those aside to ship out to me either Saturday or Monday. I haven't heard from them since. I can't file a complaint about the contest because it was not an official ECF contest. I guess I'm just SOL. Buyers beware!!! These guys must be extremely cheap to put on a contest to try to get attention for their store and then not come through with it in the end. It's been 23 days since they announced the winner and they shipped out all the kits they had that day, and apparently have even skipped on every shipment since then. This has got to be the WORST customer service I have ever seen.

I received the following message from this supplier asking me to update my thread:

"Hi GIMike

Not quite sure how to respond to the negative thread posted about us. I do understand that it took awhile to ship out your FREE prize but we had sold out and had to wait for a shipment.

An update on you post would be much appreciated."

Ok, here's my update. I did receive my kit on May 28. 1 month from the end of the contest with very very minimal response from the supplier. I didn't even know it shipped, it just showed up one day. As you can tell from the messaged I received from the supplier, it was "FREE", so I guess I'm not supposed to complain? You have a contest with a prize, you should have the prize waiting for the end of the contest. Maybe it's just me, but I would think that's how it works. If you decided to sell the kit you had set aside for the contest, then that's your bad, and I'm going to complain. That message just adds to my negativity, and I'm sorry, I can't see anything positive out of this. When it takes exactly 30 days from the end of the contest to the day the kit is received, and then the supplier basically tells you to take back what you said and say something nice about them because you DID actually receive it, that's just not right to me. FWIW, I wouldn't trust these people with my money. Make your own choices.

**Edit*** This supplier has now become extremely petty. Instead of posting here, and trying to prove to you guys that he/she cares about his customers, he/she's now harrassing me through PM. When I have the capability, I will be forwarding this info to an ECF admin. Just wanted to keep you guys up to date on what has gone from bad customer service to personal attacks through PM.

Padishah was trying to post this here but was unable to, so he asked me to post it for him to share his experience with other people as well:

Subject: ive been trying to replay to your post about house of vapor

"I had a horrible experience with them also but for some reason i cant reply to your house of vapor post

I ordered some 306 attys and 2 ego passthrus and when i recieved them the passthru would only work as a passthru the battery part didnt work and i sent them and email and they said it was only sold as a passthru not as a battery and basicly i was sol even though they were 24 bucks each

i go to use the attys and the driptips they sent with them fell right off so i tried my own drip tips the same thing so i emailed them again and after making videos of what was going on showing pics everything i they finally believed me and their response was well we can give you some free driptips with your next order and i said forget it its not the tips its the atties and with the response i have gotten from you their will not be another order good bye

feel free to post this to your house of vapor post if you want"
