Well done, Diva - one more life safed and many more inspired - like us! I know I'm done for good, and after 38 years of smoking that's saying something!

I found two more souls to bring to Halo Nation today, thanks to all of you. They many never make it to this forum, but they'll certainly become Halons. And that's all thanks to everyone here

I lost a grandfather too early, cancer-smoking and my grandmother, cancer- I'll bet second hand smoke. And several other relatives. I knew I had to stop, but every time I did, I craved.

I also still have my Logic cig a like, serving as my redneck dripper. Sorry, Halo, but that Logic got me off cigs, and showed me that I can live without a cig. (It also left me searching for more, hence the Halo)

I'm sitting now in my bedroom, vaping a cloud. I haven't ever smoked in this bedroom. (When we bought the house 20 years ago, I agreed no smoking in the house proper, just in the basement, but I did sneak some at the pc)

I've said this in many past posts and I'll say it in a lot more. I don't want a cig. No desire. Even after hours, I don't. Even after a bad meeting at work. And the crave for a vape then is a lot less severe. I feel I could quit nicotine much easier than I could have ever quit smoking. That is, if I ever dcide to end my nic addiction.

Contessa Diva, I'm glad you are happy and free. I think you are 2 weeks longer than me. Promise me you will always be.

I try to never sign out Evie, cuz when I do, I get booted out while posting sometimes, so I just don't logg out. If I don't respond sometimes, it's probably bcuz I'm really not at computer!

Oh! I always wondered what that meant. But I rarely completely log off. In fact, I sometimes fall asleep when I'm in a thread and just lay down my IPad. LOLOLOL. So, if the dot is blank, is that person completely logged off?

No, I think it's like a 5 minute time out from the last time you looked at an ecf page, it goes out regardless of whether you have logged out manually or just stopped loading new pages.

I leave my PC on 24/7, always logged in, so if my light isn't green, it just means I'm out and about.

But celebrating what? I celebrated the end of the longest week, that first 5 days after the Holidays!! And I celebrated the Countess Diva's 4 months! And Celebrated the Jet's victory over the Colts in SB III, Jan 12, 1969.

Wow! That's awesome! Did you notice that at some point very early on you sort of knew you were done, now? That's how it happened for me, I'm just curious if others experience the same thing. The money that will be saved in the long run seems like just icing on the cake for me.
