Wow! That's awesome! Did you notice that at some point very early on you sort of knew you were done, now? That's how it happened for me, I'm just curious if others experience the same thing. The money that will be saved in the long run seems like just icing on the cake for me.

It was a slow process for me. About 3 months of using both. I made two mistakes. First not transitioning to an ego style or mod early enough and most of all too low of nicotine. I was confused about nicotine levels. Bear in mind there was little info out there almost three years ago. I primarily used ecigs to cut down and in "No Smoking" situations. I picked up an analogue from an almost empty pack thinking I need to get more on the way into work and it tasted really bad. I mean REALLY REALLY bad! That was my last one. Even though the low level cig-a-likes were not that great I kept tweaking them with better units and higher nicotine and have never looked back. It was not long ago I moved to Egos for a short time now VV/VW mods. I have no motivation to go back now. Very kind of you to ask.

Dan,

That's interesting. I was in parallel for a while, too. In my case, just a few days. But even after I quit, I still had some intense nic withdrawal issues. Like you, I did not have good enough gear, and as a result, I did not get enough nic. I fixed that problem about a week later, and began the process of lowering nic, which I'm doing now.

My goal was similar to yours, I think. I picked up my "e" version, just to have a backup for situations where I couldn't have the real thing for extended periods. I had no idea it would end up being a game-changer, and I never in a million years would have guessed how easy and how fast it would be to just go all electronic.

Congrats, VapieDan. You should get a banner in your footer. Just find one you want and click on it. It'll usually lead you to setting it all up. Then just paste the html code into your settings.

Of course, the money was just cigs. It doesn't count the lighters, the other crap you buy at the mini-mart to disguise the price so the wife doesn't find out, or the burned holes on clothes, lol.

But seriously, 2.5 years!!! Wow. If I added all my quit times together, I don't think I'm at 2.5 years!

Ain't it a relief to know you are finally and truly free?

Congrats to you VapieDan! It's really encouraging to hear from the 'long term' vapers. So glad I didn't let my crappy experience with the blu, turn me completely off of ecigs. Like AngiBe, if I hadda stuck with it, it would've been 4yrs for me, instead of 4mos.

Keep up the good work! And get yourself a banner! The world needs to know! 2.5 yrs...WOW!
