My 999th post. I've only been here since December, never thought in that short amount of time I'd hit this milestone. Nine has always been my number... From philosphy to every day occurences. My wife and I got married on 9/9/9... She is born exactly 3 years, 6 months, 12 hours apart from me (3+6=9, 1+2= 3 the square root of 9).... As I said earlier, this would mean more than hitting 1,000 to me.
Since joining this family on 12/23/10, the day my first oreder arrived, I have not had a cigarette since. In this time I have made a lot of friends (not to mention found what I call selected family members, ones I may not be related to by blood, but should be) Even with all my craziness... My wife was never a smoker, infact it was the one thing she couldn't stand about me. She never understood what I was going through when trying to quit. You all are my support system. Any time I feel any urge to go back to analogs, I come here. If I'm having a rough day at work, I take a few minutes to stop and check in and it usually makes my day better. This forum (and of course company) mean a lot more to me than I can ever say. Thank you all so much. I have said this before, but it does bear repeating... Ms. Keyzy, Ms. Mary Kay, and Snow Dragon sir, I have a special place in my heart for you three. You all are why I stopped lurking in the bushes and joined. You were major factors in my decision to switch to V4L. I hope this doesn't bring you any hate mail since you're directly to blame for my being here....
Thank you again everyone, I'd list you all by name but don't for two simple reasons.... The first being I don't want to accidently leave anyone out because my brain don't function good all the time, and I have a feeling it would be multiple re-edits to correct omissions... Second being how many people I would have to list will not only take a long time for me to type, but also for anyone to read.
P.S.- The quote is from believe it or not, a black metal love song.... It is a tribute to my wife (was between this and Parabola by Tool). I was going to use the lyrics for our song, but I'm using that in my upcoming music contest and don't want to ruin it.... And Ms. Star, while it's not King Diamond himself, it is an album cover from his band Mercyful Fate. Hope it meets your standard of approval. Thank you all again.
