Hi

It seems like when I try to make flavors, I always end up with a liquid that has a too low viscosity.

I have been using 3 parts pg, 1 part vg and 1 part flavoring. Do I have to go 50/50 pg/vg and then add flavoring, or is there some kind of thickening agent that is suitable for ejuice?

I am also wondering what the viscosity should be in an easy to check method. Have been thinking of using a syringe, and measure the time it takes to drain when the plunger is removed. If the syringes are equal all over the world, this could give us an easy method of comparing viscosity.

Everyone has their own preference but I find that 70% PG 30% VG makes for a balanced blend. If I am tweaking a flavor, I mix it at 60/40 to allow for additional PG in the flavoring. Are you using a calculator? If not, I recommend that you download one of the many available. I use Scubabatdan's Excel spreadsheet and ejuice Me Up. It will help you perfect your mixes.
