Things could get ugly today

I have the two batteries that came in my Riva kit. Between the two of these they last me all day. I could all ready tell the life was getting shorter on them so I ordered another one from Liberty and it came last night. I have 3 different ways to charge but only one charger .

So last night I charged the the new one overnight. My other two were dead but took them with me to work to charge today. Put one in the car charger to start on my long drive to work. 1 1/2 hr one way. Gonna call Liberty when they open this morning for a replacement.
My new battery died after only 2 hrs of use. I am limping along this morning on the little bit of charge I got on one of the original ones from the car charger. It's not gonna last long!

I am waiting for one to charge now. Things could get ugly before the morning is over. I hate these frickin batteries!

My used Big Chuck should arrive today. The light at the end of the tunnel.

Are you cleaning the juice off from inside the batt.?

I get at least 6 hours out of a LF Riva battery .. and mine are about 2 months old .. cleaning the liquid off the contact area is a good idea .. you can usually see it in there after some usage ..

Oh, that's my worst fear.. ::shudders:: dead batteries. I have two 650's that came with my kit, but I'm planning on picking up a 900 with a pass thru this weekend..

It won't be long till you'll have enough batts laying around that this will never be an issue again. TIll then though, you may want to consider having a passthrough handy.

(and chargers are cheap! get a few extra next time you order)

For a low cost emergency backup, GP 510 SUPER Mini kit $8 gets you a super mini 510 battery, charger, pair of cartos. The other really good thing to have is a manual 510 PT, the simple ones without a battery, and car 2A USB, $25 total.
This: USB to Car Adaptor plus this: 510 high voltageManual USB Passthrough No batteries to fail, just make sure you use 2.5 ohm or higher resistance atties/cartos. Otherwise, you can get the simple 510PT with inline battery even cheaper, $10. (I always had a PT before switching to a good mod)

Good idea on cleaning the battery posts. Just did that now with alcohol. I think with my two originals I am getting pretty good service from them 4-6 hrs on a charge. The new battery however is a dud for sure. I sent an email to Liberty. Just sitting here waiting for the light to turn green, Looking at my new juice and cartos and trying to be patient.
