Well I am almost officially at a month now analog free. I love vaping.

Here are some things I have noticed and wondered about, maybe some of you have some insight.

1. Why do some carts seem to produce lots of vapor and some carts almost none? Example, pineapple almost nothing, but blueberry tons.

2. I have noticed that there seems to be a difference in the wow carts themselves versus the premium carts. I recently refilled a wow Vanilla after cleaning it with premium raspberry juice and seemed to get almost the same huge vapor. ???

3. Does anyone else have a issue that some carts wont fit a paticular battery, but fits others? that is so wierd

Anyway, just thought I would share these and see if i am just nuts or not.

1. You are not nuts, different juice formulas just have different vapor production qualities. When I want a good TH, I vape on my Nuport.. But when I'm looking for good vapor, I'll pop in a vanilla or smores.

2. No clue, don't have any WoW cartos yet, myself.

3. Mass production on cartos means there'll be QC issues on machining the threads.. The good news is that the cartos are made from a softer metal than the batteries (unless something changed that I was unaware of), so you can work the cartos onto the battery and it'll keep cutting more threads down until it fits nice and snug. It's a little bit of work, but if you are like me, you can fidget with it between vapes absentmindedly.

Ya, some of my wiggle as well, but I am refering to the ones that will not thread all the way down.

They start to thread then stop, and the amount of force I would need to keep threading would likely break something.

I just move to a different battery and they work fine.

its just odd

YES! This happens to me also! With the premium and WOW cartos I have noticed that one might not fit one battery but it will fit another. Strange! My hubby says it might have something to do with the threads because it won't screw all the way down! You aren't alone. Plus I have some carts that give more vapor then others too, sometimes that are in the same pack! :vapor:

From what I understand, all of the labor on these (in China, of course) is by hand. I believe that includes machining the threads on the cartos.

Cartos that have no threads got skipped; Human error.
Cartos with varying thread capacity were probably machined with a dull or worn out bit.

Some similarity would also be true on the batteries. As the machine bit ages and expands the cuts become a little wider and able to take imperfect cartos.

Welcome to the world of cutting edge (evolving) technology. At least the folks at V4L accept this and are willing to replace unsatisfactory merchandise that gets past QC at the factories.

I have gone through literally hundreds of cartos and still have a couple hundred on hand. I think that I have had 20 or 30 out of the bunch so far that were really challenging and like most everone here I find a way to work around it. Of course, sometimes I'm just a little cockeyed and trying to screw them in wrong.

Tip: when you get one that doesn't seem to thread properly, remove it completely, place it back over the battery and turn it the opposite direction until you feel a little click and then try and screw it on. If that works, you just had them lined up a bit wrong.

It's still a PITA when you only have a few on hand or are running low on a favorite taste and this happens but it does happen. Usually at the worst possible time.

Perez-uzza to this day
Sometimes you just get a winner cartomizer. When I get a killer carto that just obviously outperforms my other cartos, presumably because the stars were properly aligned during its manufacture, it doesn't seem to matter what juice I refill it with - the blessed carto simply performs. These wonder cartos also seem to last longer than the average carto, so it is a win-win all around.

Its actually a win-win-win because even the other cartos (I'm using all premiums these days) are better than any other atty I've tried. So better than the best is pretty besty.

Ditto, I've had the same problems too. But then again NOTHING in life is perfect so you ADAPT as you go. I get enough free samples to take the place of any problems I have. V4L Have Always done right by me with any problems I've had, Thanks V4L Gang! But I do wonder about the Vapor production of some carts.

Why smoke when You Can VAPE!!

Yes, I've noticed this too, but it's not really out of the ordinary. Being in plumbing supplies all my natural life, I know that threads can vary from one day to another on the same machine, it just happens that way. I just had the first last night where a carto would not fit on any of my non-V4L batteries, but fit fine on my V4L's. It just happens. Get more batteries! Forcing it will probably break the carto threads/end before it broke the battery, but I wouldn't chance it. Better safe than sorry.

And you need not tighten any of this stuff like there is no tomorrow. Snug it then stop. I noticed some of my regular prefilled cartos fit ever-so-slightly looser than my premuim prefilled cartos. Still work fine.
