After being introduced to vaping last year as a viable alternative to analogs, I've come to an understanding that:
1. Juices are purely subjective. There's such a thing with PG/VG ratios and how they affect the overall experience. In my experience, juices with higher PG give you a stronger throat hit and less thick vapor while a higher VG amount is vice versa and burns out your coil faster (with a non-variable voltage battery).
2. Steeping is sometimes necessary. How this is done is subjective too as it can either enhance the flavor or destroy it completely.
3. Not all atomizers/clearomizers/tanks are created equally. For example, screwing a stardust/CE4 onto a battery too tightly can cause the flat top/connection to sink down further. When that happens, there's a possibility that new cartomizers won't work, eg: Kanger T3's. Also, minute defects can also prevent your carto from working properly as well as inappropriately filling the tank with juice.
4. Do your homework first and learn from trial and error. There's a difference between an ego and 510 type connectors. Going back to the issue of depressed heads, I had to go out and get myself another ego/510 extender to make a T3 fit into a standard (riva 510) battery. Coil resistances are also something you should also keep track of. Its all very technical.
Lurking is good. Asking questions is even better. That's the point of ECF right?
