I use a more advanced mod, but I bought the exact same one from the same site for a family member new to vaping. I think it is a good choice. Although if I had to do it over again, I probably would have gotten the iTaste V3 for them instead. It is just a little smaller, but is variable wattage and tells you how much battery life you have left. Here is what it looks like and the specs:

iTaste VV V3.0 Express Kit - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer|Best Vape MOD| Innokin

Here is a reputable vendor who sells them:

Innokin iTaste VV ( V3.0) Variable Voltage and Variable Wattage Kit

If you stick with the Spinner, another reputable vendor who sells them plus the Aspire BDC is Sweet-Vapes:

Vision Spinner 1300mah Battery - Vision Spinner X-Fire - eGo Batteries

Good Luck

(PS: I worked in DC and lived in NOVA for about 10 years)

I too recommend the iTaste vv 3.0 for the beginner. Virtually the same form-factor as the ego sticks, but square and endowed with lots of features for the new user to grow into - at about the same price.

Oh, and it operates the same as pass-through for those times the battery runs down, or using at the computer or in the car, and you still need a vape :)

Got mine from 101vapes, $25: Innokin iTaste v3

I also typically suggest the Kanger products, like the Pro Tank 2 (mini), which works consistently well, and the heads cost less than the Aspire, and can be recoiled / wicked with 5¢ replacements from Fasttech, or dyi for even less.

I've been vaping for a few months now, using a White Cloud E-Cigarette. Do all of you enjoy vaping with the hookah style or e-cig style more? My daughters got the hookah style with no nicotine and I think it has a better vape on it. Thoughts?

By hookah style, do you mean the maker sized battery with a button you press to fire it and a tank on top? If so, we call them ego batteries, and yes, they generally perform better then the cigarette sized kits.

Vision Spinner Variable Voltage w/ Aspire Bottom Dual Coil (BDC) Starter Kit

aside from blus and other crappy store bought disposable style, this will be my first.. got great info from other members here, and decided a big mod style might be too much for my entry levelness. is this a good place to start? is that vendor legit/any better places to shop around at..

thanks :vapor:

Yes; and once you're happy with that, try a glass equivalent, like the miniprotank.

Very close to the same starter kit I got from MyVaporStore. Got me off analogs right away. Think the Aspire BDC is glass, so this kit is better than mine - mine came with Kanger MT3s. I've since gotten all glass or metal tanks, to handle the tank-cracking flavors (cinnamon, citrusy).

would just buying a battery and investing in something like a nautilus be a better route?

Whatever gets you started off the cigs.

Sometime a cheap plastic tank makes for a good start.

the nautilus is a good tank;

looking over the thread, I see you already have experience with the plastic disposable tanks and the blus, so yeah, I''d say go for the nautilus

and if you don't like the mvp or vv v3 then look at the sid, vamo, svd, vtr, provari, tesla, zmax
