Think I may have messed up...

Just recently found this site, which actually looks like a real forum versus an advertising springboard for a change. The biggest turnoff about the whole e-cig thing has been that it's hard to tell what is some type of advertising mechanism to try to bait you, or what is actually real out there.

So I'm pretty sure I messed up on this one, but just to confirm:

Buying a SS Stealth Micro was probably a mistake huh?

Just figured out on your forums that it's made by a daughter company of Smoke Everywhere, which I've heard nothing good about. Just as a note, the website they sell it on doesn't give you a discount when you ship it to an APO address (currently in Iraq, didn't get a discount).

Haven't got the stuff in yet, takes a while to get stuff out here. Main thing I really want to know is how well will this thing represent most other E-Cigs like the 510 (which I only just found out about) and whatnot?

It's really hard to find anything on any of this stuff without getting the eerie feeling that a team of marketing guys is out to get you....

If you fish around a bit, there are reviews in this forum that compare different models and stuff.

Currently I'm starting with a 510, which I purchased from a link in this site. I think it was in the coupon code list. This is working well for me. I got it from madvapes.com. I went from a pack a day and weened myself down to two cigs so far today.

A friend of mine uses a 901. I also have ordered one. My friend says his 901 produces more flavor and gives a better hit than a 510.

The key is to stick with a manual battery. I tried the blucigs and was totally disatisfied.

I am not familiar with this model, I have heard both good and bad about SE, but the biggest complaint is usually price. Let me just say, don't give up if it sucks. It took about 8 months of trial and error and i now have a device I'm more than satisfied with, a method, and juices I like. I was not committed to quitting smoking, but was determined to find an e-cig that met my needs. Now that I have, I smoke 2 analogs a day. Everything you want to know about e-cigs is here on the forum somewhere, you just have to look for it.
Good luck!

From their website:
"We support our military and say "THANK YOU" with an automatic discount to all APO and FPO addresses." So they screwed you there.

They mention the light is not bright etc etc..! I would want some serious stealth vaping if I was serving in the sandbox!

Are you active duty serving in Iraq? I think if that is the case, we (ok I) can work something out to make sure you get something that will work if you aren't happy with what you bought.

Edit: Oh answered. I served (retired), and my son and daughter-in-law are returning next week from their tour in Afghanistan w/ 82nd. Another son in the Nav. IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY with your PV you purchased, PM me and I'll send you a SteamPump SparkPlug 2 (SP2) kit (it's used so minus the juice and a few carts). I will have to order some extra atty's for you first, as I only have 1. AND I am not sure about sending refill juice to an APO? The carts are dry and you have to fill them. I think its better to drip it though :)

You can see the SP2 at LitecigUSA.com SparkPlug Full Kit

Just as a note, NTC sucks a lot more than actual deployments.

Think I may go with a 510 with the battery cigarette pack and the really big batteries... Although I do know electrical engineering pretty well and am nifty with a soldering iron... Would be neat to mod one of these things to plug into the pressure tape port on a weaponlight... Believe surefire batteries run at 3 volts... Hmmm...

After a quick search and scan, it looks like you paid about $80 for a bare-bones super-mini kit. Bummer.

1 - Atomizer
2 - Rechargeable STEALTH MODEL/BLACK Batteries
1 - USA Plug AC Wall Charger
5 - Regular Strength (16mg) Tobacco Flavored Cartridges

Join the club, most of us fell for that sort of thing. Some of us paid like $180, though, so it could be worse. Also, I didn't see anything that made me suspect a "hook". That's a marketing gimmick, where they sign you up for monthly purchases and hit your card every month. Keep an eye on your statement for a couple of months, though.

Stealth was kinda an afterthought, really any led can be covered with tape anyways.

I was actually gonna mention this, but then I didn't want to be frowned upon by the fellow vapors out there. lol

Did you purchase liquid and extra cartridges? I'm currently a new vapor and I will admit that it's easy to go through 2-3 carts a day.

Excellent! There is a ton of stuff in the battery mods section you'll be interested in.

You'll have to post some pics of that mod in the field, that would be awesome! :D

What's your MOS?
