You bought an e-cigarette and THEN found this forum? You might be the first person EVER to do that! NOT!!!! LOL

There are precious few folks that settled in on their PV of choice with their very first purchase. Unfortunately, it's part of the learning curve. Well meaning folks will try to steer you in the right direction but that direction differs for everyone, just like brands of analogs for smokers.

When you receive your e-cig just take note of what you like and what you don't like. That will help greatly in determining what direction you move in, if you move off it all. I would suggest getting yourself some e-liquid to use with your new e-cig before you buy anymore hardware. But, you're bound to get varied suggestions. Good luck.

Lol that model uses 2 x cr123 batteries... Same as a surefire flashlight...

Going to wait till the kit arrives before taking anyone up on an offer though. Who knows, it might not be bad. I really do appreciate it guys.

May end up buying a steampunk regardless to attempt the weaponlight mod, only realy hard part is making a switch to bypass the lightbulb.

Redklaw. Sounds like you got the juice covered. Welcome to the forum and thank you for your sacrifices for this country. Again, just let me know via PM (now that you got that figured out :). I'll order a couple extra atty's and then ship it.

Are those batts you have 3v or 3.6/3.7v? Rechargeable?

OBW, I see you WHERE in the Navy. I am a retired (2006) FCCM. Looks like you were an IT? So it is possible we served together?
Can't believe you went from AC, 3 squares and a bed, to the Army!!! :) They must offer a lot of cash to go blue to green!

I was an FT hehe (as per PM), so was on boats. Turned down a $60k re-enlistment bonus to come into the army for an 8k bonus.

Didn't actually go blue to green, had to fully exit the navy in order to get a conditional release from the navy. Also since I spent about 2 years learning Arabic in the Army, I spent that time unrated as an E5, so lost quite a bit there too. The navy's IA program was also out of the question for me.

Didn't rejoin for the money though, just wanted to see what was going on. I actually joined with the goal of coming to Iraq, not to get in "combat" or what not, more of just to understand what is going on here. I picked a job as a Arabic linguist mainly because I figured understanding every side would be the only real way to understand the conflict as a whole. The possibility of something on this scale in history could go by and that I wouldn't actually get to see it first hand kind of bothered me.

Oh and standard CR123 non rechargeable's are rated at 3.0V. The rechargeable's are rated a bit higher (3.2-4.0) from what I've looked up.
