Thinking about getting a genuine Vision vivi Nova. Your opinions please!

Absolutely love my genuine Kanger Protanks and Protank II's but am tired of replacing them after dropping them. The glass tanks break so easily! Yes, I admit I am a klutz but it is what it is! I am thinking of getting a device with a plastic tank and it looks like vivi Nova is my best bet. Tried several clone vivi Nova's from fast tech and they are junk! Not going that route again. Looking for opinions and experience with a real, genuine Vision vivi Nova.

I am also concerned about the draw on a genuine Vision vivi Nova. Love the open draw of my genuine Protanks. How is the draw on the genuine vivi Nova?

I have read about these on Fast Tech's site but people complain the draw is too tight compared to the genuine Pro Tanks. Your thoughts?

The draw on a vivi nova isn't as airy as the kanger. But I wouldn't say it's tight. I like it, but you would have to just try it and see. I will say that I have dropped it many times, and I've only broken drip tips.

I looked into vivi novas a while back but too many people were having issues with them leaking. If your only problem with the protank is that they break when dropped, have you thought about an evod? They're pretty similar except the evod doesn't usually break when dropped. If you're happy with the protank other than it's impact resistance, the evod is the next best thing.

I really have any experience w. other tanks, so all I can say is the draw on the vivi nova doesn't seem too tight to me.
I've got the whole color collection for both regular and minis so obviously I like them!

One of the pluses for the Vision's (the newer versions 2.5/3 at least) is that they are made w. polypro plastic (rather than polycarb) so they can handle most any juices known to be tank-breakers.

I used both the smoktech and the vision vivi novas for 9months. Way more hassle then they are worth IMO!!! Protanks fixed all the problems i hated with the vivi novas. Flavor sucked after a small fraction of the tank. Leaking. Inconsistent vape...JUST UGH!! Also, dont forget, certain juices can cloud/melt the "non-glass" tanks.

But thats just my opinion. Everyone has different opinions of them though. These are just mine for what they are worth.

Mine leaks badly. Have to keep it upright because of the poorly designed circular silicon ring over my atomizer.
My father has a new version though that has a silicon cap like the iClear 30, it has a pointed tip that goes into the airway and keeps juice from leaking. It doesn't leak at all and can be set on its side for days!
Other than my leaking, I love my Vivi Nova. Just be sure to give it a twirl to keep the wicks wet.

Evod looks interesting! Can you remove the metal sleeve so you can see when you are running low on juice? I don't care for the window on the sleeve. If so, does it look strange without the metal sleeve?

Forgot to ask....does the X10 allow me to put my generic plastic tips on it or am I stuck with the metal tip it comes with???

The Evods are amazing!! In fact I was a die hard Vivi nova fan until I tried the Evod. The flavor comparison is night & day. You cannot remove the sleeve, but you can clearly see the level of the liquid. However if you are set on the Vivi Novas Totally wicked sells them. I never had a single problem with them, probably would still be using them if I never tried the Evod.

I have a total of five metal tank Vivi Novas (from MVS) and every one of them has worked perfectly--no leaks, great taste, great vapor.

The metal tank screws into the top and bottom caps just as do the plastic ones.

Clumsy? I almost broke my foot a few days ago standing up on a flat surface. So yeah, I have dropped my Vivi Novas more than a few times. Like Bookworm I have lost a LOT of drip tips but never busted a Vivi.

I use Vivis almost exclusively and have for quite a while. Occasionally I think I get a bad head that doesn't seal just right, or have to twist the top a little tighter or even a little looser because of leaks or gurgling, but for the most part i find them extremely reliable.

I really like my vision vivis. I have 4 and none leak, I have had to buy one replacement tube because I wore the threads but that only cost $3.

Some say the draw is tight but I think they're just trying too hard, it really takes barely any pull.

They're also very easy to re-coil them yourself and work much better than the stock heads.

Besides gennys and RBAs they give the best vape I've had.

I love love love my vivi novas, I've had the same 2 going for months now with no problems whatsoever. I just got my new Pyrex nova last week and I'm ordering more in every color.
My protank and beautiful protank mini sit unused, I personally vastly prefer the draw, warmth, flavor and simplicity of my Vision novas.
