My set-up is KGO 3.7v Batts, Boge LR Cartos and Boba's Bounty juice. I really like the flavor and throat hit that I am getting with the Boge LR's with Boba's on my KGO's. But the constant topping off can be a little much. Really thinking about stepping up to a tank. Thought about the Stardusts, but have heard that they reduce flavor, and I like the flavor I am getting from the boge LR's. Wht tanks would you all reccomend for this set-up? From what I can see, the J-Tank seems like it would work well for my set-up. Or would there be a better method that I have not considered yet? Any advice is very welcome!

In one of Pbusardo's videos he is trying the Jtank and using BB successfully. Here it is.

:) Also check out his condom fill video.. A big key to successful tank performance is getting that first good fill before it goes in a tank. I use the cheaper DC tanks and punch one big hole in my boges with a hammer and long, sharp screw. I take my stuff outside on my brick steps.. I lay down a dish towel and "cradle" the carto in the groove made by the mortar between the bricks. One or two nice whacks does the job nicely.

I don't consider the Stardust a tank. It's a clearomizer with it's own built in "innards" to work as a full unit.

If you like the boge, you can pretty much get any tank you want with a few key pieces of information to take into consideration. First is carto height versus tank height. You can't fit a normal height boge into a tall tank. Vice versa is okay though. You will have to put holes into your boge cartos. There are several methods to do it and depends on your preference and skill level. Finally, the last point to consider is cost. You could get the J-Tank and pre-punched cartos at electronicstix, but generally pre-punched cartos cost more (they do have your boge cartos pre-punched there though). The J-Tank is also susceptible to liquids that can crack it. If you're fine with using Boba's Bounty and not into experimenting with other juices out there, then that will be fine. If you like to blast your taste buds with citrus flavours or cinammon, then use your current setup or get a glass tank.

Some tanks will look awkward and be top heavy on a kgo. Stardust/vision are an option but taste/vape wont be as good as boge lr cartos. If constant refilling is the concern then try out the "Ego mega dual coil clearomizers". They will fit the kgo well and holds much more liquid. They claim 5ml but I could only get 3ml in them. Not exactly same quality taste as boge lr but it isn't bad. They cost less than $3 each. Some of my friends prefer them over the boge cartos for the same reasoning you have: constant refilling. they are cheap enough to try them.

Yeah I'm a Boba's guy through and through. I've tried all the other big juices, but Boba's is the only one that really does it for me, and keeps me off the analogs.

The sweet spot on my KGO batts has been the Boge LR cartos. Just gives me what im looking for. Tried the Ressurector cartos, and they were burnt tasting. Tried the Boge 3.0ohm cartos and they didn't have enough throat hit. The boge LR's just taste great, and give awesome throat hit and vapor production.

Logic tells me that a J-Tank with a Boge LR would be a good for me on my KGO's with Boba's. But I have been wrong before. Do you all think this is a good purchase, or should I be looking at something else like the Stardust's?

Have you tried the dual coils? They are a real 'sweet spot' for me on my eGo or Provari. They hold about twice as much juice as a single coil and have a nice warm vape.
Here's an example......

If you've tried those and still have to fill too often, then a tank would be the better solution over Stardust or clearomizers (they taste awful)

I use a Mom and Pop's Submarine Tank on my KGO. I started with 1.7 SC Resurrectors, then moved on to the tank. It's somewhat awkward with the screw on the side, but makes filling a breeze and i never have to worry about it slipping off the carto and causing a mess. To me that was more important than looks anyways, 'cause i too hated refilling and refilling. I also tried the mega dual coil cartos, and as they fit the best on the KGO in actual size, the vape was simply too cold for me and i still battled the same refilling issues as any other carto; though it was a tad less often than a standard carto, there's no condom method available which always proved the easiest/quickest method for me. I also ordered some stardust clearo's, which haven't given good vapor production or flavor at all, but the refill method on those is super easy. I wanted to get the J Tank at first due to it's "grip" on the carto per PBusardo's reviews, but it still seems to be more of a hassle to wiggle the tank from the carto, refill, wiggle back down on the carto, and hope for no leaks after several cycles of this, IMO anyways. If you like the Boge's, Mom and Pop's Vapor Shop sells the tanks with the XL sized Boges that'll fit the tanks, and i believe you can order a pack of them pre-punched also. I haven't tried Boba's Bounty yet, but if it works fine in your Boge carto's, i see no reason it won't work using the same carto's surrounded by a tank...

I recommend staying with the boge cartos if that's what you like. They now make XL length boges that will fit in the taller tanks. I was a boge carto guy for a long time, then got a tank with some dual coils. I could'nt find the sweet spot where both coils would be wet and it didn't flood, so I just went back to single coil boges and 1.7 ohm smoktechs.

I've had zero problems with the SmokeTech DCTs. Using their flanged, pre-punched carto's too. My experience is that 2 out of every 5 carto's are bad from the start. I toss them immediately and open another. The ones that work are great. I use 70/30 and 50/50 juices with no problems. I only have to refill the tanks once a day on average.
