Also remember that the iStick 50W is also a good inch shorter than the ipv mini 2, not to mention it also sells for about $10-20 less as well.

I checked with my local store and they are selling ivp mini 2 cheaper than the istick. In this case, ivp is the better choice?

EDIT: I realised ipv requires batteries and that would add some cost to the overall purchase.

Istick seems like a better choice until a solid box mod.

Just go with the iStick 50W it's a great piece of kit, I have been using an Evic Surpreme for a year or so and ordered an iStick as a spare for work and I now actually prefer that to the more expensive Evic and as above poster said it is a really neat setup with either a Lemo or Lemo drop.
With my Evic I would go through more than 50% a battery during working hours and put a fresh in when I get home, with the iStick I have gotten more than 2 full days of use and it wasn't even half way down ( ok my batteries are getting a bit older now )

I'm coming from an MVP 2.0 with a nautilus. I just bought the isick 50 and a subtank mini. I couldn't be happier. I got them from Vape Royalty.

I also just purchased 2 iStick 50's and a Subtank Mini from Vape Royalty. It was my first purchase from them and only because the other sites I'm more familiar with were OOS. I must say I'm extremely happy with their service. I had my package in 3 days from Los Angeles to Vermont. Would definitely purchase from them again.

Anyway, the iStick 50 is awesome! I almost had tears in my eyes five minutes into using it. Of course, I upgraded from a 5 year old mech mod, so one might understand why I'm so thrilled...hehe.

Had the istick 50 for a week now. Been using my iclear 30 which is a bit irrelevent setup. However do not need to worry about charging for a few days at a time, which i find wonderful.
My question here is, i bought a mini subtank with it and it is so so harsh. Im juicing my usual 6mg but it is only 40 vg. Which im guessing is the problem. Btw im using the 1.2 occ coils. Subing the 0.5 will be much harsher i reckon so not even going to try that. So is the vg the problem?

Oops...wrong mod. My post was comparing the iStick 50 to the Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0.
IMO there are advantages to both. I like them equally. The iStick 50's battery lasts longer (4 days for me!) and it has higher watts. The MVP seems like more constant, cleaner watts and I think it's construction is more solid. Either one is great with any Subtank. To the poster with 40 VG, what kind of watts are you using?

Hi. I was using 20w. Is it too low. If so would higher watts not be even harsher. Thanks
That's about the same wattage I use with the 1.2. Sometimes I even go up to 22 or 24 and I don't think it's harsh at all personally. I would say bump your VG up to 50 or more and make sure you are putting 5-6 drops of juice directly in your new coils (in the hole on top) and drops on the holes on the sides. Then once your fill your tank let it sit for about 10 minutes before you vape, starting the wattage low. That's all I can think. Maybe someone else has more advice.
