I would stay away from the ego-t and the ego-c (non twist), they are regulated at 3.3 unless it is the new ones which I understand can go up to 3.7. There are much better set ups out now.

The main difference between the two is the T system the atty and cone are a single piece, the C they are 2 different pieces. There are a few people who like the tank system, but more of us who had issues with it with leaking and other problems.

Even the kgo is an unregulated 3.7 which means when you first take it off the charger it will vape at 4.2 then go down as you use it. Holding for a while at the 3.7.

You can get an ego c twist kit here

http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.browse&category_id=38

I bought one and very satisfied with the batteries. I purchased one 650mAh and one 1000mAh. It also comes with a 1000mAh output quick charger and two vision v2 clearos for $69.00. For a dollar more you can get the rebuildable cartos. Not sure if its the best deal you can get but seemed reasonable to me. Hope this helps.... ;-)~

You can assemble this yourself for cheaper, get rebuildable clearos, with the resistance you want, and not have to bother throwing out the ....ty case.

The Ego twist is a good device, lots of folks love it. Nothing wrong with it. But really it sounds like you're frustrated by all of what's out there, and just wanting to get something and be done with it. If that's the case.....the twist is fine. But you do need two of em. Putting it together yourself over getting a kit is probably best. But if you don't need vv right now, I'd go with this and two batts I linked at the bottom of this novel. http://www.carolinavapes.com/JoyeTech-EGO-T-18650-MOD-wUpgraded-Controller_p_171.html

But, here's something no one has mentioned, that you may or may not have thought of. Any Li-ion battery (which pretty much all vaping batts are), only has usually 300-400 charging cycles. With any type of ego battery, when they die you have to replace the entire thing. If that's a twist, you're talking about $60.00 to replace two of them. Depending on how much you use them, they might last a year, maybe more or maybe less. If you're ok with that, then I'd definitely recommend the twist. But just be aware that there are variable voltage mods out there for about the same money that are really good too. A mod, has replaceable batteries. So when the batt is finally dead (won't take a charge) you replace a $7-10 battery instead of a 30.00 device. The gripper with two panasonic 18650 batts would run about 70.00 and just get a 510-ego adapter if you want to use stardusts on it. The only drawback to this is......the threads where you screw on the juice holders are not good and some have had issues. So I would get an adapter anyhow so you just put that on and leave it on instead of constantly threading a juice holder on and off of the main threads on the gripper. Quite a few provari owners are saying they like this lil mod as much or more than their provari. The vtube (a lava tube clone) here Apollo VTube Kit

would be 52.46 before tax with the vtube 30% discount. Buy an extra battery, and you're set. I have the vtube and the gripper (won them both) and although the vtube is much better constructed, I like the gripper better as far as the vape goes. But if I were buying it, I'd probably go with the vtube, I think it will last longer. And I would go with the vtube over the twists. apollo has a 1 yr warranty on these (most folks have a 30 day warranty on batts and mods) The reason these are so cheap right now is that a new type of this mod is coming out soon that has a higher amp limit. Also you have a lot of safety features in a mod like the vtube that you won't get with the twist in case of battery failure etc.

Really not trying to confuse you further or make this harder, but a lot of folks don't realize that they have to replace the whole device after so long with ego type batts, and really don't get info they need to make a truly informed choice. Just because there is sooooooo much information out there. If you do get replaceable batteries, I'd go with panasonics. I don't know one battery from another, but everything I've read on here from those who are well informed say these are the best ones you can get for vaping equipment.
